Delicious Friday night meal here - excellent and friendly service, good menu choice, superb food of high quality wood-fire cooked burgers done medium rare, really light crispy battered fish and perfect chips. Quality ingredients and fairly priced. Thoroughly recommend. Best meal we have had for a long time.
The Sunday roast is superb. Melt in the mouth beef and all the trimmings were top notch. Not the cheapest at £21 but worth every penny. The service was impeccable too.
Lovely, friendly pub. We stayed nearby for a week and visited most days. Good selection of local drinks and good snacks. We didn't eat but the food looked fantastic too! Plenty of seating in the big beer garden, and loads of parking as well. Staff were friendly and pub and facilities were clean. Definitely a place to go if you're staying in the area.
A fabulously place to get something to drink or eat. St Kew is a very small village with nothing more then a church, an Inn and a few houses, but it is beautiful lying in a small valley. The hot smoked sirloin you have to try, it is one of the best pieces of meat I ever eaten and fantastic prepaired.
Lovely ancient pub. Nice folks, good beer. Next door is an old church, hundreds of years old with a fascinating graveyard. Earliest date I could find was early 1700's. Definitely worth a drop in.
Had dinner here think they just cut the horns and hoofs off and threw the rest on the plate. Only problems here are it's too popular so on a cold evening not any space inside and the steak can only be cooked medium rare very rare fine for me but my wife likes it well done although I think it was well worth the 29.95 each apart from that an excellent evening.
Have wanted to visit this restaurant for some time and it didn’t disappoint. Very rustic eatery with exceptional food of the highest quality. Excellent attention to detail and flavours utterly out of this world. Pay them a visit.
A lovely pub with a nice country feel., but I feel the food is overpriced. £71! for 4 burgers and drinks. Burgers were raw inside and I know you can eat beef raw but surely not roughly chopped beef burgers. Asked them to redo which they did but still was not the greatest burger for the price of £18
This place is amazing. I hate that most pubs on a Sunday will have only a roast/carvery on as it will generally be average at best. These guys have a 'roast', but unlike any I've had anywhere else. It's proper bbq, tasty, smokey, slow cooked meat, veg and gravy. Everything on the plate was perfect. On top of that, the pub was a nice place to be, with a good sized beer garden, with a view of their bbq shed something I have far more interest in than others.
Lovely pub. Friendly staff, welcoming, food was excellent, restaurant itself was relaxing, they even gave us 2 free glasses of prosecco as a congratulations for our recent wedding. Would definately go back! Thanks again :
