Called the health centre on the Thursday expecting a call back, no call back that week, called again on the Monday and they had no record of me calling apparently, logged another call back for Thursday 3 days later. Dr wouldn't back date the sick to the previous Thursday as no record now my employer is asking my why.
Seamless phone call - receptionist was very helpful. Phone call consultation carried out by doctor and examined 30 mins later. Thank you
It is very difficult to get through by phone to this surgery and to get a telephone consultation never mind an appointment is like gold dust and usually a week to two weeks away. However I felt I had to praise the receptionist I spoke to today who was so helpful. I can't thank her enough. She was genuinely caring so sorry I didn't get your name Thank you so much!
All the staff in this building want to do is help as many people as they possibly can. And they do it really well. Be patient. You're not the only patient. Also it's only wee pharmacy so stop complaining about waiting. It's been a ten min wait for ever
I was 40 minutes in the phone line today and when answered I was told I need to call back tomorrow when queue opens again at 8.30 for an appointment. Couldn't get an appointment for another day without having to ring back. Really disappointed.
The reception staff are nice and I manage to get a phone appointment easy enough. There are a couple of good doctors here, but it depends on who you get.
Absolutely disappointed.. Most of the doctors are irritated, sometimes rude and talking to us like we are stupid. Sometimes the nurse answering the phone just turns you down without admitting to the GP. Other times they say call the next day for same-day appointment and when I call next day they give me an appointment 2 weeks later I understand covid is going on, but this is just a joke.
I am so disappointed at the experience I’m currently having with the surgery. I didn’t really have to use the practice much for a long time however in the last 6 months I’ve been diagnosed with a problem that needs intervention. Whenever I ask them for help they don’t listen. The Duty Doctor gives a solution to your problems without even speaking to you which is miraculous. Think how much he could save the health service with that talent Once you have waited forever to get an appointment there are a few GPs who are helpful however they are the exception. The reception team again with a few exceptions do not have the skills to deal with you if you challenge them in any way I dread having to deal with them now My last 3 contacts have just been awful. So much so that it’s time to escalate this to the complaints ombudsman. So disappointed at the lack of support The lack of it just means that I have to contact NHS24 or go to A/E. They simply don’t care
Reception staff do their best with the limited appointments however a 2 week wait for an appointment is unacceptable. It is putting pressure on a&e and out of hours. A certain GP should learn to talk to his patients and listen not talk at them and be dismissive most disrespectful. Not the service you would expect in this day and age. I had a stroke while waiting on an appointment which has changed my life. Not good enough
Been waiting a week for script, and this is my second time trying to pick it up. I have also tried phoning. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and told me to 'speak clearly. I went back to the pharmacy feeling like a child who had been scolded. They were so apologetic. There is absolutely no need to speak to people like that. These are difficult times for all, but manners cost nothing. Some customer care training is needed methinks!! Oh, and I still don't have the script, and my husband's meds run out on Wednesday!!
