Just been to see Doctor Lattova this afternoon and she was so lovely with me & my mum was with me also because I find it hard to remember things and explain things properly since my stroke. She was so thorough and went through everything with me and checked my ears and did all the checks I needed there and then & prescribed a spray for me to try & immediately did me a referral to ENT Department because I am suffering with dizziness all the time. Couldn't be happier with how my appointment went and I really liked her! Very pleasant and approachable and thorough. Just wanted to say this on here!
I would like to leave a heartfelt review for Dr Chris Wood at St Catherine’s Surgery.nnAfter experiencing repeated episodes of severe vomiting, I had felt completely fobbed off by A&E and other doctors and was starting to lose hope of being taken seriously. Dr Wood was the first person who truly listened to me. He took the time to understand my symptoms, acknowledged my concerns, and made me feel heard and believed.nnInstead of dismissing what I was going through, he acted on it and referred me to a specialist, which has been such a huge relief. His compassion, patience, and willingness to actually listen made a massive difference at a time when I was feeling very unwell and overwhelmed.nnI am incredibly grateful for his care and support and cannot thank him enough. He is exactly the kind of doctor you hope to see when you are struggling.
Today I had a physiotherapy appointment due to severe lower back pain, two vertebral fractures, and a lumbar disc problem. Because of balance issues while walking, I used a cane to get there. I had an appointment with a physiotherapist who reviewed all of my medical documents, but he kept emphasizing a particular point that I did not fully understand.nnUnfortunately, the way the session was conducted made me feel belittled and uncomfortable. I left feeling very upset. I was so distressed afterward that I had to take a calming medication in order to relax.nnI hope I will be able to cancel the next session or change my physiotherapist.
Recently registered. My daughter is autistic and I explained this on the patches. Didn’t get sent through to a doctor receptionist sent a message through patches told us to go Arrowe park which is a stressful place for autistic kids, we only go if a doctor says to go or if it’s an emergency. Never had this at our other drs only left because we moved areas. Well registering somewhere else now somewhere that has some kind of training for autism. Absolute joke! Would give no stars if I could.
Sadly seems that you can’t get to see any doctors at your local surgery who you have been with all your life 40+ years - walk in centre seems the only reply on PACHES, call up get told exactly the same and told they can’t see everyone, this is a doctors that has gone from a little house surgery with 2 doctors to now a money making machine. What is the point in having the huge surgery to turn people away.nWill be moving me and my family to a more welcoming surgery and heard many more are doing the same.
