Rebecca Murphy RGN, Hannah RGN, and Jackie HCA were absolutely incredible. They comforted me, supported me, and made me feel truly seen and safe. I have never felt so heard or cared for in a hospital setting. They constantly checked on me, made sure I was okay, and never left my side when I was upset. Some of the kindest, most compassionate people I’ve ever met — I’m deeply grateful for their care.

Recently attended the Spire Liverpool with regards to a shoulder injury, was quickly seen by Thier physiotherapy department.  I must say Jenny has worked wonders on both my shoulders mobility and strength, can't thank her enough for her time expertise and commitment to helping me.nnI the most gracious way I really hope I don't need to go back, however if I ever do I know I would be in safe and competent hands.

I had post operative treatment with Josh Lake, Physio, who was exceptional.  Josh really listened to my goals and the difficulties I was experiencing and adapted the treatment programme to suit work and life balance.  We worked together for quite a while and key goal was to return to running - which I have not achieved.  Josh has a lovely nature and all made me laugh along the way.  he is professional and compassionate in his care and I would highly recommend.nI would just note that the reception staff were exceptional and always remembered me when I attended, really adding to the patient experience.

I tried to approach this hospital with faith that things had improved despite its reputation, but unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.nnThree days before my scheduled surgery, I was called for blood tests following a pre-op phone call. Then, just one day before my operation, after I had arranged the relevant childcare and support, I was informed that my surgery was cancelled.nnThe reason given was that the anaesthetist was “unhappy” to proceed because I am a carrier of a bleeding disorder. To be clear, I am only a carrier and have never been affected by it, completely asymptomatic. I have safely undergone major surgery at another private hospital without issue.nnThe nurse explained the anaesthetist was concerned about “factor 5 levels,” but my condition relates to factor 8, raising concerns that the wrong issue was even being considered. This does not inspire confidence. I was also told the blood test results take 10 days to return, so why were these only requested 3 days before surgery? This shows poor planning and poor communication.nnI’m left feeling that the cancellation was more about staff avoiding the case than genuine safety concerns, especially as an anaesthetist’s primary role is airway management, not bleeding management.nnOverall, my experience suggests a lack of coordination, inadequate knowledge and a complete disregard for the practical impact on patients. I would suggest patients look elsewhere until the staff here undertake the relevant CPD and improve their communication.

I recently visited Spire Hospital Liverpool for a blood test, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was a bit nervous, but the team were incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring throughout my visit.nnA special thank you to Jonathan who talked to me the whole way through and comforted me, he was so helpful and understanding, and to Louis, Tina, and Mo, who made sure I was comfortable and well looked after from start to finish. Their professionalism and friendly attitude really put me at ease.nnIt’s clear that everyone at Spire Liverpool genuinely cares about their patients. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a calm and supportive environment
