Good food and good service. Reasonably priced it is also licenced and has a bar. Very small and not many tables so often best to book a table. It does seem the decor is dated and could do with been refreshed. Parking outside is difficult but not impossible

The food is good, not the best as the standard has definitely dropped. The service is terrible. If you happy to wait to be served after waiting a while and can tolerate a moody and rude service then go here. Must say the standard has really dropped and it is a shame.

After a long time I called Sri Rathiga to place a takeaway order. phone was busy for a long time so I decided to go to the shop. I found that the staff didn’t understand English and had to explain it to them several times. Turned out that the phone wasn’t put back properly, no apology what’s so ever I ordered the food which took around 25 mins so wasn’t to bad Got home and found that the paratha wasn’t cooked properly, was very chewy, no taste. I called up the restaurant and same guy answered the phone, took ages to explain to him about the paratha. I asked him to call the manager and he said he was the manager. He said to bring the item back and they would replace it. I said I couldn’t go back that day and will come back another day I went back to the shop the next day and he said where’s the paratha. I informed him that I threw it in the bin. He said there’s nothing he can do, he went into the kitchen and started taking in his language. I said do you want me to take it out of the bin and bring it to the shop he said yes. I found the staff so rude and unprofessional no apology and customer services was nonexistent.

Tasty vegetarian food including dosas is served with friendly staff in cramped surroundings. Parking is available in side streets. Menu has variety. WiFi is available. However the kitchen door at the rear if left open can let in insects which is not good for the cooking area & then the food is served to diners.

Food is Adequate. Masala-Thosey was good Thali was ok However the service has to be improved! You are ALWAYS required to sit at the corner table as apparently rest of the place is permenantly fully booked & allways reserved even at lunch time. Even a disabled person is Unwelcome & relegated to the corner tables where they Obviously would be unable to sit. The staff eat & drink while you wait for service. What is shown on the displays is not what is actually served It is as if the staff are doing you a favour by serving you. Be ready to argue, especially about where you like to sit Not for the timid. Suggestion: A short course on good customer service might help, Be considerate especially of the disabled. Smiling, Saying Thank you & please costs nothing Being friendly will promote customer's desire to return.
