Great place but staff need to be educated in the fish they’re selling, tried buying some today but was told the comet goldfish I wanted grew to 2 feet long and bigger as do all the cold water fish they sell?. So anyone buying a fish need an Olympic size pool to keep them In!! 😂😂 My daughter was very upset we couldn’t buy some fish. Will return tomorrow though to buy some.

The food is a bit hit and miss. Cold chips today. Pleasant staff but a bit pricey.

This has been a brilliant place to visit for a number of years. As well as selling all the plants and garden equipment you'd expect, they have an excellent cafe. The food is tremendously good and the prices excellent. It's also a meeting place for coffee amongst local people. At the moment it's decorated for Christmas which is worth a visit to see. There are fish for sale and a lovely pet department as well.

Wonderful place to spend an hour or two. Great restaurant (Sunday roast is popular), helpful staff and an extensive range of plants and gardening equipment. Also, it's clear there is continuous investment in the store keeping it up to date and never static.
