My daughter treated me to lunch here for my birthday. The food was awesome. The service was amazing. The staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a wonderful ambience. Will definitely visit again and tell all my friends and family
Food is great. Service is varied. My daughter and I waited 10 mins for anyone to notice us at the front as we waited to be seated. Then when we sat down, the waitress took another 10 minutes before coming back to take our drinks order. She then stood at the waiters station chatting to another waitress without entering our order into the system. Another 10 mins passed before we asked the manager if we could have our drinks please. She shot the waitresses a look and went to the bar to get them for us herself. The food is always lovely though. I have been there twice and the first time the service was great. Would I go again, probably yes. I just wish they'd train their staff better!
I wasn't wildly impressed. The resteraunt is noisy - lots of hard surfaces with the addition of loud music why play dance music on a Saturday evening? made it difficult to hear our conversation. The food was only average - good starter potted crab, so-so main chick pea cakes were dry and i needed to ask for mayo, so-so dessert tarte not lemony enough. Service was great, though we were served by a wide variety of waiters, rather than one, which gets a bit busy.
I found the service so bad that I found myself explaining to a staff member why I would not be leaving a tip The main issue was the lack of service... I had to wander round the restaurant to find staff repeatedly. We ordered drinks and food together... all the drinks took a long time to arrive and one even arrived after our food was served. Staff were short tempered about being reminded about this drink. My poached egg had a runny white giving it a snot-like consistency. Most food was served at the same time but one plate arrived 5-10 minutes after the others. After I 'fetched' the bill no-one came to take our money All in all I was very dissatisfied. We also had young children with us who became challenging to control while we were stuck waiting to pay our bill
I came here with my partner to celebrate his 21st birthday. I had previously told them when I booked our table that it was for his birthday. When we arrive we were given a lovely big booth, he was given a complementary drink of bubbly and also a complimentary desert that had a candle in and "happy birthday" decorated. The waitress was so attentive and the food was incredible! I couldn't fault it in anyway!
Lovely meal in early eve from fixed price menu. The best thing about Brasserie Blanc is that they change this menu every month so we can keep coming back! There are many restaurants in Farnham but this is our favourite by far. Always excellent service.
We had a lovely meal there, starters mains and desserts, and really reasonable. They took a lot of care over the food, and were so apologetic when the pistachio soufflé went wrong. Another arrived freshly made within a few minutes. Another nice touch was the fruity mocktails, really nice.. Will definitely be going back.
Visited to celebrate 2 friends birthdays. The service was so bad it left us speechless. The table was booked for eight o'clock, the waitress arrived to take our orders even though we were not given menus, the starters took 30 minutes to arrive and the mains did not arrive until 9.30. This being after complaining about the slow service and threatening to leave. We repeatedly gave our drinks order before we received our drinks. People were queuing at the till to pay and leave,and appeared to be negotiating what they were prepared to pay, as what they had ordered and received seemed to be at odds. It was chaos. This is so disappointing as our experience back in February, had been so good.
