We caught the shop just before closing & they let us grab a quick ice cream to go, they’re friendly and plenty of flavours available. There’s a seating area right outside and a large seating area to the right of the shop for customers only. There is parking right outside and car parks nearby
Lovely place for a snack or coffee and ice cream. Good menu choices and great location being just next to the weekly market. Will definitely go again.
Who goes to an ice cream specialist in the middle of winter just before closing time? Their fans - the place was at least half full and lots of takeaway, I've seen queues outside in summer. The welcome is fantastic - they're lovely people. The coffee and cake are great we weren't tempted by the ice cream - it looks very good and other tables were adulating, but it was below freezing outside. Will try and get in during warm weather and sample the ice cream
Best ice cream ever!! Elderberry and Ginger was lovely. Sea Buckthorn is my favourite. Decent Hot Chocolate as well.Food: 5/5
Perfect Coffee and a nice piece of cake......Super friendly staff and accommodating with placing my bike safe, despite the signs stating otherwise as it was quiet. Lady that served me was really friendly as her husband was also a cyclist. The place next door Radcliffe's was shocking without even getting inside the door, with poor staff attitude - So thank you Spurreli for restoring my happy views of Amble while touring down the coast from Scotland.
What is there not to like. Fab selection of ice cream flavours which differ on every visit.Food: 5/5
we often stop here on a day out and its Possibly the nicest hot chocolate I've had and the service is always really friendly.Food: 5/5
We always pop in to Spurelis for a coffee and cake. The coffee is amazing. The ice cream is very popular too. No dogs allowed inside but you can sit under cover on the outside with your pet which is great. Its a great coffee house. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome. Well, with delicious creamy Ice cream what would you expect? Parking: here is parking close by but you will struggle in summer as it is a very busy town and Marina.
All the years of visiting Amble this was our first time in here. I had the coffee and walnut cake and hubby had rum and raisin ice cream. He could not stop raving about it saying it's the best he's ever had. They did look amazing but I prefer cake. He intended to stop for another but got waylaid so will visit next time we are in the area.
OMG if you are in Amble this place serves the best homemade ice cream in the world The coffee is also excellent Food: 5/5
