Friendly staff. Vegan options including for ice creams, prices reasonable for what is described and coffee done well… lovely. But bit disappointed with the food. This is the ‘Mediterranean platter’ in a world where your eyes do half the eating. Felt like no effort was put in to make this look nice. It was okay. A little green added…. Slice the pepper perhaps… toast the bread and maybe some balsamic?? This is how it arrived: Very blah
Lovely cafe with beautiful view over Springfield park. The cafe has wifi which makes it easier if you want to work outside or inside. Light foods are delicious muffin, small dessert and drinks are good with reasonable prices. Having not tried decent food like pizza or burgers but I won’t come here for that anyway so it’s fine. My husband and I love to come here on weekends to chill. Very good place.
Lovely quiet café on a weekday at least when I was there in an elevated location at the top of Springfield Park. Good views over the Walthamstow marshes from just outside. Friendly service of tea, coffee cakes and other snacks available.
It's a delightfully decorated and friendly cafe with a simple but good range of foods made to order, and whilst the food is tasty, the views and the building are the reasons to go. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and Vegan options across all foods including both a vegetarian and vegan fully plant based fried breakfast. Kid-friendliness: Whilst nothing specific for kids, for summer there is a lot of outdoor space and a kids outdoor play area. Wheelchair accessibility: Looked to be wheelchair accessible - been recently renovated so I suspect it will be fully accessible.
This cafe is always really welcoming, you can sit outside on sunny days, they do have chairs and table outside throughout the year. Inside is really warm and welcoming. Pizza is really nice must give it a try and my personal favourite is their croissant which they bake. They have toilets which is always clean. Staff are always friendly. And it’s a step free access, easy for buggies and wheelchairs.
Very disappointing after reopened. The stuff was rude , tables dirty, I received tea in a small cardboard cup even though I asked for a mug. Tea taste awful in cardboard. Prices are too high for this place and there is no variety in the menu. Be are they are closing at 4 pm, it's getting dark after 5 m so I don't understand! Poor business. Vegetarian options: I can not see much of that but I had a choice between vegetarian and simple. croissant . Simple was bigger ad for the same price vegetarian version. Tasted good but cardboard tea was awful
An 18th century Manor House, at the top of Springfield Park, London. The park, once the Manor’s estate. The building now now houses this splendid cafe. Simple, understated elegance. Atmosphere light and airy. One feels very comfortable here. This listed building has relatively recently been refurbished inside. The grounds adjacent to the buildings have tables and chairs. A charming place … and … the prices are very fair.
Good to see that this café has not lost its chilled vibe and reasonable prices after it's revamp. Nice comfy chairs and the toilets are superb.Food: 5/5
Beautiful location, generous portions and a large menu selection. The staff seemed unhappy to be there. The place especially the bathroom has a caffeteria vibe. It feels uncomfortable. I had a falafel wrap which although generous in size was very dry. The coffee wasn't great and the juice was tepid. I wasnt that impressed really.
A former Georgian House purposed as a cafe with a picturesque outdoor area on the lawn affording an agreeable view over the park. Revamped and tentatively improved here., A reasonable selection covering familiar well-trodden territory + some vegan options. Average prices/average quality. Service polite and efficient. Perfectly adequate and this be no criticism.
