Loving the peaceful environment and great selection of cakes and coffees. There is a basement that I usually go over the weekends to study/work. The photos don't do justice to the exquisite flavour of these cakes. My boyfriend and I had a Banofie Pie and a salted caramel brownie. Both not too sweet and theh melt in your mouth. I was happy to see a swan in my flat white :D I forgot go mention they have also free wifi.
What a fantastic little treat I found myself here. The little crumb cafe is much more than meets the eye from outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by positively charged staff, taking my order and guiding me to a basic but very nicely set fade-look wooden table with drinking water and menu. The decor is very simple yet calm, nicely done, very clean and comfy. The staff are quick, attentive and friendly. Hellen the proprietor was very kind in showing me around the upstairs and downstairs of this magical tardis advising on available business facilities, meeting rooms and drop in break out areas with free wifi and absolutely great spots for anyone wishing to run their own home based business from a very convenient location right in the middle of a busy yet quaint highstreet surrounded by many shops and other wonderful places to visit. The toilet facilities are set in modern, clean calm colours. The cafe itself offers indoor and also very spacious outdoor seating and is very family friendly which adds to the flavour of its community spirit. I recommend this place to anyone wishing to enjoy a quick snack by themselves or in a group. The pastries are off the hook and it's well worth a visit to find out more about the business room facilities. I for one will be hosting a networking event here very soon and look forward to meeting other likeminded entreprenrurs and adventuring enthusiasts along the way. Two thumbs up, full star rating.
The food was absolutely exceptional. Fresh produce perfectly prepared. From the eggs to the salmon and french toast. We loved it. There were some mess ups with the service but all went well at the end hence the 5 stars.
Stunning and incredibly good looking and tasting food. Best poached egg I've ever had. Yolk was orange and white was firm! Very friendly staff who greeted by the door and nicely said goodbye.
We had to wait 45 mins for eggs Royale. When it arrived it was stone cold and five minutes into eating it there was a piece of string stuck in the egg. Needless to say I won't be going back. The actual restaurant looks nice but very disorganised in the kitchen. They were however very apologetic and did not charge me .
The best... everything! Everything I've had to eat and drink from this wonderful, spacious yet cosy cafe has been sublime. I go in for a coffee & end up going home with cake; it's my new favourite place & I really can't see that changing any time soon. The service is wonderful, my dog gets treats & cuddles; I leave full of delicious food & happiness.
Where to start- really good portion sizes. My friend said “that was literally the best vegetarian breakfast I’ve ever had”. There was a woman at the bus stop playing the perfect soundtrack. Nice glasses that the Aperol came in and the outside seating is top
I am SO happy I have found this place!!! I am a chef myself so I am quite picky with my food. But let’s start from the service: super nice front of the house, ready to go off the menu to make us a special Italian coffee the way we wanted. The food was tasty and the portions big. We got the vegan open sandwich which was perfect, the vegetables well cooked and the sauce was great! I then got a beetroot, ginger and apple juice that was a very good balance of the 3 ingredients and we ended up our meal with an amazing homemade pastry with custard and strawberries. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for fantastic food and happy service : I will definitely go back to taste more of their food!
Painfully slow service - we literally waited 35 minutes for two coffees to arrive. Missing the cake we ordered, too. Had a few too many rude interactions with the staff to make us go back, will be avoiding at all costs.
The eggs royale are the best I have ever eaten!!! Delicious food!!!
