It's a second home for me. Delicious food, lovely staff and the best cakes around. I especially like the art, yoga and gigs that take place in the evenings too.
Very relaxing cafe/community space. Aims to serve local people with good food at reasonable prices and succeeds immensely. We often end up coming here before or after walking our dog in Hackney Downs.
Decent place. Service a bit confused at times. Missed aubergine from aubergine salad. Forgot coffees. Quite pretty and quirky. Decent value.
Delicious, healthy food. The bread is incredible and perfectly supports the tasty bits on top. Portobello mushrooms... Done perfectly. All this, and it's right next to my favorite bicycle shop; The Hackney Peddler.
Nice cafe just off the busy road with plenty of outdoor seating. It's practically under the overground line but the trains coast by quietly.
Lovely place, Children, dogs and laptops all accommodated. Fresh daily menu & cakes. Good coffee. Now licensed!. Google Map was Jan/Feb 2013 showing this nr. Mare St, it's actually on Amhurst Terrace, corner or Amhurt & Rectory, in the industrial arches.
Really amazing food and great atmosphere. Loved my experience and it was the perfect start to a brilliant weekend. Thanks!
