This place request £250 as a deposit. They explain that it takes 2 weeks to give it back but i didn´t get anything back yet. I fully respected every rule. Actually i saw the owner and she told me that she bought a champagne bottle for me because the hotel was under costruction. I decided not to open it just in case they charged for it. I called them to request my money back and they suddenly told me that there were a discrepancy about the deposit because they say i smoked. It CAN´T be possible beacuse i don´t smoke at all. So i absolutely saggest you not to come over this place.

Since there is no host to check people in or out, there is no control over who uses these apartments. Walls are really thin so you can hear everything and we were very unlucky to listen to a party until 6am. There are much better places to stay in Basingstoke for the same price that do not charge a £250 deposit, to be returned only in two weeks.

Loved this hotel. New owners have totally refurbished it and rooms are cosy and well-dressed. WiFi works exceptionally well and beds are a dream! The shower was amazing and high tech where I was able to set my own desired water temperature and have a rain shower. Thank you so much for the stay Springfield House. Will be back soon and definitely recommend the hotel.
