Useless wouldn’t help us when our sons metal stud came through on his boot after wearing them twice because we didn’t have the receipt. They clearly sell these on the shelves still not many places do sell metal studs and we use the shop regularly will not use them again after the policy there referring to is clearly useless
I'll never go to sports direct coalville again, a group of staff standing around chatting and still chatting when i tried to get passed them to look at trainers.. the look of disgust i got because of was interrupting there mother's meeting!!!! When i asked for a certain size of trainers, i was told there over there!!! It must be great to get paid to stand around and do nothing .

The only reason we went to the shop was because my son ordered a pair of boots and they sent the wrong size. Nobody answered the phone. The shop was busy on a Saturday morning. The staff were quite helpful and polite. I am much more impressed with the staff at the branch than the staff for online purchases.
Good selection of trainers and prices, but staff on the verge of rude and ignorant, I know the pay may not be good but don't take it out on the customers.
You are paying your employees to stand around talking rather than being focused on your customers. Your brand suffers due to poor employee selection.
The best thing this store ever did was to relocate to where some other shops are near Morrisons. What was once a cramped, dark and unwelcoming store, is now a two-floored, spacious, bright and inviting store. They definitely made the right call and I can only imagine that their profit margins have perhaps doubled if not tripled because of this.
Decent prices and service by one of the very chirpy sales girls. Last visit to buy trainers asked at the desk for help, another lady walkie-talkied someone to help. 10 minutes passed yes I timed it so went back to the counter to see what had happened. She said “he’s here” referring to a gentleman behind her. He was too busy or ignorant to stop loading empty clothes hangers to acknowledge or assist me I decided my patience had then expired. Off I went. Bought a few gym shirts, shorts, tracky bottoms over the past year so not a huge customer but I will now travel elsewhere.
