Brilliant experience the scenery was to die for, totally breathtaking.  Accessible to all and well worth the visit, if coming from Hilltown don’t forget to try the wee road on the right put the car in neutral and watch in awe as the car travels back up the hill on its own

Spelga is such a beautiful place peaceful and tranquil. I love nothing more than getting away for the day and stopping in. Heaven on Earth

Beautiful spot in the Mournes. Good starting point for Spelga skyline walk taking in Cock, Pigeon, Muck and Butter Mountains.

Quite and beautiful place bit of a walk from the car park to find a good fishing spot

Lovely spot, spectacular views, there are picnic tables and seats, toilets. Some information about the local history, landscape and geology.

I'd never been to this place before and the views simply blew my away. Great place to fly a drone, the views are amazing. There's also toilets in case you need them, but I don't know if they're clean or not as we didn't visit them.

Worth seeing all year round. We went to see the old road that used to go through the valley and is generally unseen unless the water level is low.

Spelga dam car park is a nice place to stop off and enjoy the scenery.

Best viewing point
