First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. The path isn't the best and it was quite wet which made it a bit tricky. We followed the path and ended up at Pigeon Rock which gives great panoramic views. The car park has a picnic area but no toilets.

Quite small but there was plenty of space when I arrived. The bin was destroyed and rubbish everywhere. But the scenery is amazing.

We are not mountaineers but follow path across road from car park and were in the mountains in less than 15minutes not too steep unless you want to climb Hen mountain.  Car park busy but we go parked easily.

Small carpark. Probably space for about 10 cars. Great walk up to Hen Mountain along a farm track then over rocky grassland, suitable for all abilities. Beautiful views from the top.

A start and finish here is good.. small and can be hard to get a space but as they say the early bird gets the space .

It's a car park...what can I say. It's small so on fine days it fills up early and it's a popular area with walkers and rock climbers. There's no other facilities except car parking spaces but it's a short walk to to yhe base of hen mountain and you are quickly into the western mournes along a well constructed path.

As far as car parks go this one is top notch, the spaces are big enough, the tarmac is smooth there are bins provided and the views look like they are from an episode of david attenborough

Gets busy very quick

The coffee stand/cafe of a converted horse box is an asset to this beauty spot.
