The system in this surgery is not fit for purpose; all online and the daily triage is full by default even first thing in the morning. The lack of care and compassion by the doctors and receptionists is truly shocking. My child had an infection so I filled up a form and then was offered a telephone appointment in 3 weeks! We ended up in A&E needless to say .
I would give this surgery 0 stars but it’s not possible. Been on a que for over an hour and 15 to sort out my prescription. They constantly mess up, are very unhelpful and I genuinely don’t trust my life or care in their hands!!! Go register elsewhere if you want to be looked after.
Personally I am very happy with the Surgery overall. It GPS I have are very good that I have. Receptionists are OK, 1 or 2 need to be a bit more understanding. But good overall. havegoigoo;rhav
I became a patient here for the convenience of it being located close to home yet I am CONSTANTLY sent to the Westfield Surgery which is over 30 mins walk. Very disappointed.
It's impossible to contact the surgery. They never answer calls. They keep you on hold for more than an hour and hangup after.
Don't sign up to Southview. They will just keep sending you over 30 mins walk away to their other branch in Westfield. I was told to go and take my own blood pressure today before they will give me my prescription. Go to a pharmacy! My pharmacy doesn't do this. What is the world coming to?
Absolutely useless. It is impossible to book an appointment. The only ones offered are though Livi. Literally you do not see a doctor nowadays who could actually inspect you. And once you go though the list of possible illness reasons on Livi- you arrive to the final page that says: "we are fully booked for today. No available appointments. Try other time'. 'Press OK to close the page".
Looking for a new local GP after relocating with work. Filled out a new patient form online and heard nothing. Tried phoning and the only option to speak to a human was if I did not have internet access. So I hit that option in a bid to speak to someone to see if my application was ok and then to book an appointment. After I finally got through I was greeted with an abrupt 'this is an EMERGENCY ONLY line' so I was a little confused and explained, the receptionist spoke over me when I was explaining I was not aware and told me to call back. After waiting 15minutes to speak to someone again, when I finally got through to someone they were as equally rude and unprofessional. I have never left a review with a GP but I feel like the lack of general people skills from women/girls that are receptionists the voice/first impression of the GP shouldn't go unnoticed. The amount of reviews on here goes to show how incompetent the front of house is, embarrassing.
You can't even talk to them on the phone now. Everything has to be online or Livi. Might aswell hire Doctors and 1 robot to handle all the bookings, we don't other staff there.
The Doctors are relatively good compare to other surgeries in the country, however their receptionist who answers the phone to make appointments has no empathy, no client service skills, she does not even understands English...I would never recommend the practice for all the reasons , lack of professionalism, respect and empathy. UK health system is very backwards when comes to prevention and doctor qualifications, I believe that’s why is free, making sure people are not getting the right treatment at the right time. Totally disappointed.
