Had a private citizenship ceremony yesterday and the entire process had been done smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Catherine, the Superintendent Registrar conducting the ceremonies was an absolute gem. She was very friendly and made my guests and I feel welcomed. The Jubilee Hall, where the ceremony was held, was decorated beautifully. Overall, very happy to have had an important event done through this council. However for future citizenship ceremonies, I suggest a larger portrait of the sovereign and perhaphs play two verses of the God Save the Queen?

Came here to give notice to be married and the covid secure protocols are the most strict I've ever seen. Made me feel very relaxed Giving notice was super simple and the guy who went through the details made sure we were happy and had everything needed.
Had our ceremony at Westgate hall. Absolutely beautiful venue. Our registrars Tania and Tony made us both feel at ease. And the ceremony was lovely. They also looked after some of our elderly guests very well. Thank you for a great ceremony.
My husband and I were married at Westgate Hall recently. Despite having to follow new covid regulations the ceremony, which was held by Julian Deputy Superintendent Registrar, felt really personal. His choice of words were beautiful and very moving. Thank you so much for helping make our day so special.

Very helpful and lovely staff. A toilet outside available for those people waiting. Clean and tidy office, a pleasurable experience all round.
Was visiting for registration of a death. Very very helpful, made a difficult time easier. Caring patient and knowledgeable.
We just had our ceremony here in the Magnolia Room and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Annie is a star and we are s happy she conducted both our pre-ceremony appointment and our marriage ceremony! Would recommend the Register Office to anyone after a low-key, comfortable and friendly ceremony.
they were super good with me and i had a phone back less than an hour after sending my e mail . the lady was very nice and she really was very helpful and competent .
