Sunny afternoons, boating and weekend cricket at South Norwood Lake. A green oasis welcoming you with polite continences and good manners.

Have been going to lakes for the best part of 30yrs ..when growing up it was on my doorstep, and now when ever I'm in the area, I still visit..However now we have lost the park keeper of 26yrs the lakes has suffered from people who are not respecting the place leaving rubbish on the the fishing jetties, one of the Canadian geese had a fishing hook stuck in its neck ..careless Fisher.. I still love this slice of wild in South London and always enjoy my visit ..please put litter in the bin...x

Calm and quiet park for morning or evening walks,kids play area and you can have a little picnic on the grounds ! Highly recommend this place !

Idyllic and beautiful, this is a natural gem in the heart of SE London...a little off the beaten track and part of what's left of The Great North Wood, it's a great space to relax anytime of the year.

Oh my my. Such a calm and tranquil place. I walked around the lake yesterday afternoon and there’s a small kiosk selling snacks and hot drinks

Beautiful lake ..lots of wild life. I wish the park areas were maintained better. Also no toilets? ? But a nice lake never the less.

So peaceful!! My go to place every weekend to get away from all the stress!!

Love this lake and surroundings.  Lovely for a walk, feed the ducks and see the squirrels  Atmosphere is pleasant

It is a beautiful place to enjoy with the family and friends, but there is no toilet .

Great place to do a few laps around during lockdown.
