Visited South Lodge for dinner & to see a rock covers band. They are on the main Harrogate - Ripon road & have a large free car park. There wasn't even one hot veggie option on the menu, but when I enquired I was told that I could order a veggie burger with any of the other available burger options/sauces. The staff were top notch - especially when they ran out of onion rings, which was part of my order, & I was asked if I wanted to swap to anything else or receive a refund. We had a top evening & the band were fab. I'd go back but probably not for food.
Lovely pub restaurant with a good selection of wine and beer/ales plus a great menu including a gluten free options. Friendly staff and a comfortable lounge and dining area. Outside garden area. Apple Pay accepted.
Saw good reviews & thought we'd try it , they were busy with a wedding reception but we were able to order after a few minutes. Had the burgers ! Fantastic ! Excellent value & the staff were so friendly, thank you .
Grubby and in a poor state of repair. Staff were great and food was good but not good enough to make up for the state of the place
