I was very disappointed this time I came. The food came in about 15-20 minutes, but I also realised it looked like they had 1 waiter. Most of us were veggie so we ordered Beyond Meat Burgers. Everything was decent but for the price of £12.49 each it was NOT worth it. The burger had a vegan patty and 1 slice of vegan cheese on top. No vegetables, no nothing. I could make this in my air fryer in about 10 minutes. It also came with about 8 chips and 1 or 2 onion rings. My mother in law had a mini pudding that said came with coffee but the coffee never came and the dessert couldn’t have been classed as a dessert it was so small. It was £6.49.nI haven’t been in a while so something has changed but right now it doesn’t seem like it’s worth it

All of the staff were warm, kind, and attentive, and it truly made the visit special.nnThe food was excellent as well — the katsu curry was outstanding, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Everything from start to finish was of the highest quality.nnMy partner was with me, and we both felt genuinely well looked after. We are certain that we’ll be returning again in the near future.nnThank you again to the whole team for such a lovely experience.
The Cross House Inn is everything you’d hope for in a traditional village pub — welcoming, full of character, and consistently delivering great food and drink.nnFrom the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The interior blends classic pub charm with modern touches, making it just as suitable for a quiet midweek pint as it is for a lively weekend catch-up. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which makes a big difference.
Great pub, very friendly staff and local people. The food was good and price point was as expected so no surprises there. Situated in Formby which has everything you might need for shopping. I travel in my Campervan and was made very welcome along with some other friends. Will visit again for sure.
Really good vibes, incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The team always makes you feel welcome. Food is good , great drinks selection, Poker nights are brilliant, such a fun crowd and atmosphere with the poker group. Quiz nights are great too.nAnother big plus: Is pet friendly!nAlways enjoy coming here.
