Recently I bought a sony ps lx310bt, a record player! I’m so happy with my purchase, working well and sound amazing! The staff are so nice and friendly, professional and they gave me great recommendations! Even they show me how can't change the record player needle and how to set it up. I will go there again and highly recommend it for any electronic devices!

My wife and I visited the Sony shop in Leeds to buy a new 65 inch tv where all the models were on display. We could then compare the picture, sound quality and other facilities between the different televisions. It’s also a real bonus to be able to talk to experts who work for Sony. Lewis gave us some excellent advice and answered all the questions my wife and I asked him which ranged from technical to aesthetic. As we had bought one of the more expensive models we decided it was worth the extra £49 to have it set up professionally by Sony. We would then be sure we were getting the optimum performance from our set. Within a few days Dave from Sony delivered the tv and it was set up within a very short time and then gave us a tutorial on how everything worked. We are extremely delighted not just with the quality of the tv, but with the excellent customer care & advice we received at the shop and with Dave who set up the tv. We would recommend anybody looking to buy a great tv from a shop where the staff care to buy from Sony at Leeds on Vicar Lane.
Came in looking for a better set of headphones as mine keep breaking. Connor who was the salesman, really helped me out and directed me towards wireless earbuds.What a life changer! I absolutely love them. Nick and Dave also were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had while Connor was in the back sorting my product. I will definitely be coming back to get some more tech products as the store is amazing and the staff are super friendly. 10/10.
Went into this shop on Saturday with a view to purchasing a camera that I had researched heavily and was 95% certain I wanted to buy, but wanted to hold the camera in my hands first to check how it felt. The display models had large plastic poles attached so it was impossible to get a true feel of how the camera would handle. An assistant came over and asked if they could help but when I asked if I could hold one without the plastic pole attached they said they can't do that. I then asked if they have actual stock in the store for sale which they did and if I could hold one of those. Again the reply was no and that there was nothing they could do. All the time this conversation took place, the assistant didn't even look me in the eye, they just stared straight ahead at the wall. In the end I left the shop and went somewhere more helpful and I will now buy the one thousand pound camera there instead. Response to owner reply..... I appreciate that you have to secure your cameras etc. but if the assistant had been prepared to enter a real conversation with me I would have come up with suggestions such as handing over my wallet, phone, car keys, house keys etc and/or asked to handle an unboxed camera in a side room etc. But as it was, the assistant wasn't interested in finding a solution. They couldn't even be bothered to face me, he just kept staring at the wall.
Great service once again - Purchased 3 TV's from the Leeds store back in 2015 for our new house - Just purchased another today over the phone. Dealt with Dave and also spoke to Anthony - Always sound advice and professional Service. The multinationals are doing ok, or better than the smaller stores during these times... If you want great personal service and excellent advice, please support these guys, they really do appreciate every bit of business..... They really are great and once we are through Covid, we need these stores in our towns.
We visited this store to purchase a new OLED TV. We were blown away by the amazing service from first walking in to the store right through to delivery of our TV. Nick was our initial contact and remained in touch throughout the process and was amazing both in terms of his knowledge about the product and in his customer service skills. The person who brought and fitted the TV was equally fantastic. I'm not the most easily pleased person so when I say these guys were excellent, then believe me they were and I will be shopping here again.
I live in Liverpool and have been trying for over 2 hours to get help from Sony re a fault with a Playstation. It is impossible to get to speak to another person on any of the numbers available on the internet. I decided to try phoning a Sony Store and picked the Leeds Sony Centre. I spoke to a brilliant young man called Lewis who was very professional and helpful and was able to give me the number I needed. I am a valued customer to customer service - this is clearly not the case, and the customer care title is a misnomer. Why Sony need to make contacting them so difficult is beyond me. Lewis is an asset and gets 10/10 from me - thank you Lewis.
Please , especially if you are a widow or a lady do not buy anything from this company . I spoke to Nick on the telephone who was so pleasant and charming during the sales process . As soon as there was an issue with the TV on arrival he was very rude and put the telephone down on me before I had chance to discuss . The owner of the store , Dave snapped at me whilst setting the TV up when it was not as described to me by his colleague Nick during the sale process correctly and this issue that arose was not my fault but Nick's poor telephone sales . I had suggested a solution to the problem we were having and Dave relayed to me his primary concern being cost and profit to him , certainly not finding the right TV for the customer and excellent customer service . Historically I would have kept the very expensive TV for fear of upsetting the man but this time I correctly rejected it . This is when Nick turned from charming to nasty . My late husband has just died looking after Covid patients as an NHS surgeon . I have also just lost my father . If this is is how they treat me as a vulnerable customer , imagine how they would treat you They are frighteningly and savagely only concerned about making a profit even from a Covid widow . I am still crying , triggered by Dave's tone and Nick's behaviour . Both men showed no emotion or basic human decency , even during this time when we are all supposed to be showing kindness to one another . The worst experience of customer service I have ever had in my life and most importantly caused me huge distress at this time of grief for me .
