Bought a new pair of speakers here they were very helpful immediately setting up an apointment for me to listen to what they had in my price range. On finding a pair of speakers I liked wharfedale diamond 12.1 normally £250 I inquired about a sale they had on them for £200. Unfortunately this had just ended but the sales associate offered me the display pair for £200. I then called the next day to confirm speaking to a different associate as the one I had talked to wasn't in that I wanted to purchase these speakers to be told they didn't know about this agreement as it wasn't in writing and that they wouldn't usually offer this unless it was their last pair. They then proceeded to offer me new ones at a discounted price of £225 but then respected my decision when I said I wanted the display pair at £200. Overall it was a very positive experience and despite the confusion around the display models they remained friendly and honoured the deal they had previously made even if it was inconvenient for them. which I think other stores likely wouldn't have. I will definitely be returning for any other hifi I need.
From my original enquiry about some active speakers with store manager Chris, the service has been excellent. Assistant manager Gavin set up a demo session outside of normal opening hours to suit me. He was very knowledgeable with any questions I had. Anything he wasn't sure of he found out for me while I was there. Even to the point of sourcing some extended cables to suit my installation needs and including them in the purchase. A pleasure to deal with, from start to finish
We made an appointment, and went into the Leeds store this morning to see Mikey. We needed information and advice about replacing our old lounge hi-if system. Mikey was excellent, and took the time to listen to our requirements, then to explain our possible options, and then to demonstrate a possible system to us He later prepared and emailed me 2 quotations of potential systems that would suit our requirements. No hard-sell whatsoever. A quick check at home shows the quoted prices are comparable with online retailers. But at Richer Sounds you get the benefit of excellent personal service and great advice I am certainly going to follow-up my quotes today, and purchase the kit And for the future, for any hi-fi related matters I will go to Richer Sounds first.
I bought the LG G3 Mikey dealt with me over the phone. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to drop off my tv stand and sound bar so that I would have everything a lot sooner. He also came back as I was having issues with the sound bar and he re organized my media display in order for me to get the most out of it. Have not had service as officiant, knowledgeable and friendly as I experienced with Mikey at Richer Sounds Leeds.
Needed to update a 30 year old system and Harry was most patient and helpful talking us through different options for a turntable, radio/amp and speakers. We came away with a system that met our needs. Very happy with the service we have recieved from Richer Sounds. Thank you.
I hate buying TV’s, always been a Sony fan and I am very fussy on picture quality. But with the new LG released and a few nasty niggles with my own set, I was convinced that was the way forward. Called in at Richer Sounds Leeds. Met Paul who listened to and appreciated my concerns. I made it clear I wasn't purchasing at that point but the support I received was still above and beyond. He worked with me to compare all the models available and make up my own mind. Not only that but he had extra info relating to models and features. This saved me the best part of £600. I called him back later that day and purchased over the phone. PS it wasn't a Sony The TV was delivered the next day by a very careful delivery service. I have bought from other places out of laziness and convenience. But this experience was first class and a reminder to make the effort and go into town. Julian please consider making Richer Sounds in outer industrial areas. The world is lazy and wants to pull up outside in their car. That said I am so glad I made the effort.
Chris thanks to you and your team for all the help, information,demos and perseverance. Excellent service. Got the Onkyo TX -Rz50 set in 7-1-2 mode this av amplifier is fantastic even with my set up, score a 10 from me for the amplifier and you guys. I hope you noticed I had some help from my cat.‍
We visited the Leeds shop many times and asked many questions over many months, as ... we knew what we were wanted to build, but we had no idea how to do it ... how much it would cost ... and what we would need when. Joe was patient, took time to listen to our ideas, and allowed us to see and listen to a wide selection of suitable but affordable kit. That in itself was highly enjoyable,. Now, we have our media room and we have managed to replicate the amazing sounds we heard in Leeds within our own home. Everything was expertly fitted and balanced by Phil. With your help, we have made a room that we truly enjoy and the cost wasn't as scary as expected.. Great job - The service from start to finish was absolutely brilliant! Thank you Richer Sounds! You gave us exactly what we were hoping for!

Richer Sounds took a good portion of my money and I'm not even mad about it, since it was all self-inflicted. Now on a serious note, in the past I've used the Leeds branch for my Denon PMA800NE which lasted several years, and still works. Recently I decided to check out some of the Cambridge Audio setups as I've been a long time window-shopper of CA. The guys at the Leeds shop were massively helpful from setting up the sound stage, pairing some speakers based on my current Monitor Audio MR1 speakers, and sorting out any courtesy discounts. In a subjective market like audio systems, it is an absolute pleasure to have a shop like Richer Sounds where the staff go above and beyond to ensure you're buying what you need, based on your preferences, and not just what they want to sell, like many other retail shops. Now I'm happily rocking a CXA-81, CXC and CXN.
