Lovely grounds. Incredibly friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Sort of decor you'd expect from a country hall, bit on the plain side, not exactly opulent . Didn't eat in at night as there are lots of cozy country pubs with real fires nearby, but dining room & menu looked worth a try. WiFi good in most areas & rooms, though not all. Some rooms are a bit noisy from the proximity to the boiler or the extractor fan.. a low constant noise like being on a ship that possibly wouldn't bother some people. Comfy beds & good size bathrooms.

Amazing place. Go every year for New Year’s Day for a 3 course meal. There is normally 18/19 of us there. Everyone is catered for with all dietary needs. Kept in good contact with myself about my options for 2 vegan meals and asked me what I would like as the chefs would prepare it for me. Sadly had a family emergency this year mid way through meal and the staff were fantastic! Called an ambulance and ran round after all of us making sure everyone was okay. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Delicious food- posh but proper! Bridal suite was lovely. It's not perfect but was clean and well looked after. Staff were all pleasant.

Stayed for one night DBB rooms were ok though the bar area requires updating some of the sofas had tears in though covered with throws. Food was delicious and staff polite and courteous. Would stay again if required accommodation in the area.

Have just come back from a overnight stay at Solberge hall which will have been our fourth visit and again thank you as all was superb the room beautiful the service second to none the staff are a credit to your business the food superb nothing is to much trouble and a big thank you to Gail the morning waitress a gem thanks again Dave and Nita Knowles
