Worst kebab shop I've ever been too. Gave me a doner kebab with meat so hard it was like chewing on concrete and to top it off there was a whole onion unchopped just chilling in the center of all this mess.
We get our home delivered pizzas from this place, and have for many years, the permanent BOGOF offer makes them competitive, and they're always delivered promptly and are tasty. We had a problem with our order last night the first time we've had a problem with SOBS, I rang them, they dealt with it very quickly and efficiently. I see dealing with a problem properly as the mark of good customer service. Very happy to 100% recommend SOBS 7 Dials pizzas. We've never ordered a kebab from here, so cannot comment on their kebabs, but having read some of their other reviews I find the negative ones hard to believe, maybe there's a culture with fast food delivery firms to write negative reviews against each other. Not justified against SOBS.
Had a couple of visits to here and in all honesty I haven't enjoyed the meal really. As a review I found the kebab on first visit to be very dry and very tough to chew so decided thus time to eat a burger and it was swimming in liquid inside the container with a soggy bun.. Not planning to give. It a third time so going to look elsewhere..
After 4 phone calls, food arrived 45 mins late 1hour 20 in total Ribs were pure fat and disgusting with wet lettuce chucked over them. Pizzas were honestly THE worst I have ever eaten in my life. I have never once given a bad review on any site. But this place is beyond a joke. I have never tasted dough so disgusting in my entire life. Was dry sugary and had a slight hint of instant coffee. My flatmate refused to eat it even after paying for it. Also the delivery driver is a creepy sleeze.
I've been ordering from Sobs seven dials for years. If you're ordering from here and expecting a gourmet or even a decent dining experience you're a toss pot and should take your silly expectations elsewhere. It's food designed for wandering home completely blotto or on a horrendous hangover. The pizza deal is great value for money and is sufficiently tasty. Being veggie, I don't subject myself to the obviously very cheap and not very well treated cuts of meat, so I can't tell you about that side of things but I'm guessing you get what you pay for. Don't pay £2.90 for loads of food and then whinge, The guys in here are super nice and put up with loads of S**t from drunken douches, including possibly myself at one point or another, so let's all just be nice.
I live nearby and this has become my go-to place for any food that I may need at short notice. The portions are always more than adequate and are higher quality than most other places I've been to, especially the chicken and burgers. I tend to order fairly late, and it's always made and ready to go within a few minutes of waiting. Everyone is really friendly, and more than happy to give you sme extra sauce here and there.
Below average. Donor meat was like cardboard where it’s obviously been sat around for hours, tiniest portion of salad. Not sure how they can condone charging £7 and calling it a large. First visit and my last. Shame because it’s the closest kebab shop to my home and they’ve lost a regular customer before they’ve got them.
Ordered through Just Eat who's service was very good but Sobs were poor! Was told my order was 5-10 minutes late but it ended up being 20+ minutes and they had the nerve to say the food was delivered on the app when it still hadn't arrived. No charisma or apology from the driver! The food was decent but I doubt I'll order again unless desperate
Ordered chicken kebabs, meat was delivered but no pitta breads. Called them and member of staff refused to believe that there was not pitta bread. Arguement followed and pitta breads where delivered 30mins later. By this time the meat was cold and dry. Unhelpful staff member, poor customer service and cold and dry kebabs.
Hit and miss sometimes amazing other times not so good. Ordered a hawaii burger came with burger bun and ring of pineapple normally comes with full salad etc didn't realise till I got home. Pizza good sometimes not so good.
