Been eating at GFC for over 7 years but has gone down hill. When I lived in Brighton, I'd occasionally order from GFC and the highlight of their food was the hot wings. Big sized wings with a nice spicy taste. The fried chicken also had a tasty and unique coating. However over the past 2 years, I have seriously seen a change and have seen how this place has gone downhill. Whenever I visit Brighton, I usually order from here. However the past times that I have ordered in the last few months including last week, were very disappointing. Chicken was bland no seasoning or flavour like it had years ago; just pure grease and doesn't taste fresh. The most disappointing thing was also the wings. They no longer have that great flavour that I experienced years before. Just plain and no freshness. It's a shame that This place which was once so good, no longer puts much effort into food.. I hope the owner sees this so things can change. Even though I had a few bad experiences, I kept ordering just in case they made the nice recipe again for wings and chicken but now I have given up. I can't keep ordering and getting chicken and wings that doesn't satisfy one's pallet.
I ordered a golden mixed basket with a Coke, it then took 2 hours to get delivered. Once they had delevered it we began to eat the chicken which tasted off and I had then found purple mould growing on my food. I then called back to explain and they said they would deliver some more chicken and I would get a refund. I then waited another hour for my food, I then called back up seen as I still hadn't got my food, they claimed they hadn't received an order and had no idea what I was talking about. The chicken was vile and the staff were rude. Highly recommend you don't buy from here.
Twice I've ordered food here, twice they've got my order wrong. The first time they got my burger completely wrong, but sent out another straight away and it was very tasty. The second time they didnt put cheese in my burger AND I'm missing onion rings. Food is alright but save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
Asked for a delivery... They forgot to send our hot wings... Chips were stone cold... Called and asked for our hot wings and they said they would send HOT chips... So, our hot wings turned up... But NO HOT CHIPS. Phoned back and moaned at the useless idiot at GFC and assured him we would NEVER order from them again. The entire waiting time we experienced overall was a little over TWO HOURS!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RIDICULOUS!!!!!
The food was average at best. The delivery guy was a complete d**k! As soon as I opened the door to collect my food, he literally started screaming at me because the parking near my place is terrible which I admit. I apologised for that and he then called me "ungrateful" because I wouldn't come down to meet him down the road from my house while he waits in his car because he couldn't be bothered to come to my door. After he stood on my doorstep screaming at me and disturbing my neighbours, he stormed off and told me to never order from them again, no skin off my nose. So if you want some mediocre food delivered by a lazy, psychotic guy, order from GFC.
This place is so bad that they would shout at you if they get your order wrong and if you still keep calling they will hang up on you. Ordered food from this place and half of the food was missing. We called and they said we never ordered it. The items were on the bill and we paid for them, as we told them the guy called JAY shouted at us and said stop calling us we we are very busy and then he hung up. We were also happy waiting for the missing food but they said they would not deliver the missing food which we paid for. WE WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
Really disappointed. Ordered 12:45pm, phoned up at 1:45pm asking where the order was and they said it would be half an hour later which would have brought it to 2:15pm. It did not appear and we phoned again and we felt it was not acceptable to wait this long for an order. The person on the phone hung up. We phoned back and a different person claimed we swore, which certainly was not the case and they cancelled our order. To wait 1 hour and 30 minutes to be told your order was cancelled when they were clearly in the wrong is incredibly rude.
Had 3 chicken wings and ended up with poisoning for 4 days with stomach bug. Second time I ever eat there and second time to get a bad stomach!!! This place should be shut down again but this time for good!!!
Order wrong every time, always try to give them the benifit of the doubt as I like the spicy chicken burger. Yet still takes 2+ hours, always cold, always something missing. Do not use unless you expect disappointment like English weather.
Late delivery. Rude delivery driver. Kebab portion was very small for x-large house special. Rubbish. Never order again. Don't waste your money.
