My husband took me here for dinner, I was amazed by the the decor, beautiful, very grand, a very elegant restaurant. Service was brilliant, staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The food, oh wow!! A fantastic food experience! Absolutely delicious I was surprised by the price too, not as expensive as I thought. For two courses and 1 drink each, £60.
Loving fine dinning restaurant that delivers quality all round. Excellent customer service, fantastic choices available from the wine menu and delicately produced food from quality ingredients. The upstairs dinning area is tastefully decorated to the period of the building. The downstairs bar has a lovely open space feeling with decor that complements the buildings history. The staff were so so lovely. My friend had an allergy and they were amazing about it and ensured the food was handled safely so she wouldn't react. The food was really tasty and not even as expensive as I thought it would be ! And the decor is gorgeous, you feel so fancy! Definitely recommend!
Went for breakfast and sadly the best part about it was the quirky decor and atmosphere and not the food. The coffee was not great, I suspect it was from a machine which if I'm paying £3 for a latte, I'd like a nice latte. The food options sounds nice on the menu but execution was not 100%. My poached eggs were not cooked properly, egg white was still runny, and the other egg dish was overbaked. The avocado was For the price, I expected better.
My partner went a few weeks ago with friends for a birthday meal, she was so impressed she said she wanted to take me. Yesterday we went for a late lunch. We had starters and a main which were both very tasty and well cooked. Didn't have room to fit a dessert in. Service was very good. The building is beautiful inside and out. Overall, very good food at a reasonable price.
The service was brilliant. The Cosy Club kindly gave us a corner table for the two of us as I requested. Our waiter was attentive, but not intrusive. The food was excellent. A wonderful bonus for us was that The oay Club has a full Gluten Free menu which made it so much easier to select gluten free options. The gluten free bread that came with our meal was absolutely delicious. As we went on a Sunday evening and there were no functions booked we were able to stroll around and have a look at the other rooms which was lovely. We had drinks in the downstairs bar at the end of the eveing which is also a beautiful setting.
Fantastic converted venue, believe it was the Reform club a old school gentleman's club. Decor very decadent made you feel.like you was in the reform club. We were seated up stairs, loads of room and did checknbar areas out which were also cool. Food and service was very good and cocktails spot on. Really enjoyed visit here and would go back. Parking: No parking near but in city centre.
Just been again, for another family birthday dinner. Was taken to a different part of the dinner, again very nice and spacious. Once again our waiter services, was brilliant and very good conversations and interaction with us and made our experience. Tried different food from the menu and again the food was outstanding and worth the price. If you want to have a experience that is memorable and treat the family or love one, truly recommend coming here. Thanks Cosy club team, my wife loved her birthday family dinner. A really delightful, bar. The internal deco, takes you back, to a time of glitter extravaganza and no expense spared. You need to dress to feel part of the experience. Drinks are at a reasonable price, with two for one cocktails. Staff are super friendly and engaging with customers. Went on a Sunday evening, was busy and you could see why, Nice place to sit relax and take the atmosphere. A defo, place to go. A fantastic Christmas tree in foyer to have that classic Christmas picture with your partner/ friends.
Was there with my friend for coffee, stayed for drinks and eventually for food as well. Very nice place, clean with polite staff. Coffee was good, I got the grapefruit sherbet margarita which was extremely satisfying to drink. Perfectly tangy and zesty, with a hint of sweetness . Food was very good as well, burger patty a bit dry, but the amount of vegetables and great burger sauce balanced it nicely. Overall very good experience, will definitely visit again.
Really cool place to go for something to eat or drink. The building itself is awesome with a brilliant grand stairway. There's a couple of floors for dining so even though it looked full there was a table upstairs for us. Plenty of friendly staff around happy to help and the food was a good price too. We had burgers and they were great homemade style ones. We had a show to get to so didn't stay for dessert or drinks but they had a notice on the tables for a themed night I can imagine would be great in this gatsby styled restaurant.
