Story

The Black Cherry Lounge is a beautiful dark 600 capacity club space located inside the Midlands' most famous music venue Rock City. The club features a large dance floor, state of the art sound system, two fully stocked bars, and lots of plush seating.

Black Cherry Lounge is open every Friday night for brand new alternative club nights.

1st Fridays-ROCK CITY in the 90's - Dj Spiky Mike mixes the greatest rock and metal from the 90's.

2nd Fridays - FLUX - Old School Goth, Deathrock, and Industrial featuring special guest dj's.

3rd Fridays - CREEPSHOW - Psychobilly, Garage Rock, Surf, Punk, and Hillbilly classics.

4th Fridays - DEATH DISCO - Post Punk, New Wave, and Dancepunk.

Simply put! Cracking venue, but drinks price and quality is abysmal. STRONGLY Recommend go here for a gig, but recommend you go elsewhere first for drinks.
Bar has lots to choose from and they’ve got great shows going on. This is definitely the place to go for live music in Nottingham.

It was the first time my husband and I had visited Rock City and all we can say is "Why has it taken us so long!!" We saw Kiefer Sutherland and he didn't disappoint!! The sound was fantastic for him and the support act - The Adelaides. We will definitely be returning!!!

Have been going to this venue for years. Fantastic venue and a great atmosphere. You know it’s been a great gig when your sticking to the floor at the end of the night.
