Great place for refreshments with great views. Feels a little dated but on the whole a very good experience.

Average cream teas if I'm being perfectly honest. They were fine but nothing special. The prices weren't terrible, a little on the tourist-inflated side and the owners whilst not grumpy or rude, didn't seem too pleased to be there. 
The views and the garden however are terrific, lovely scenery and picturesque view of the ocean with some nice walks around the area.

The venue and the view is unparalleled. Cream tea is good, if not the best, and the retro tea shop inside is a trip down memory lane to when every seaside cafe had a tea urn, a glass-fronted cake cabinet and a rack of curling postcards. Well worth the visit.
