Absolutely loved this place. So tranquil. Nature lovers paradise. Staff all amazing . Good facilities and great little shop.
Lovely site within easy reach of Newark. Great for rallies as they have a large, level rally field. I'm not a fisherman but great facilities on site if fishing is your thing. Nice dog walk direct from site.
Another enjoyable visit. Great to see the peacock . Lucky to get a lake view, mind you this site is large and has many nice views and quite places. People like here. I liked hearing the ducks and geese and see the bunnies in the evening warden is at hand if needed, well run site. See you next year
Nicely kept site. Welcoming staff and clean facilities. Dog friendly. With a selection of ponds and stock on site for the angler or, just in front of the river trent. There's a lot of fishing slots locally so this site is a great base to start. A stones throw away from Newark Town where you'll find plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants. Loved our stay.
Had a great weekend fishing on the river Trent at smeatons what a beautiful place for nature walks and we caught some Barbel out of the river. The Bailiff Brian was very helpful.
Would I go again… Yes. Bit tricky where I was pitched in a tent as it was half grass half deep stones. I couldn’t get the tent pegs in. Worrying as it was windy. I don’t actually think the stretch I was on was designed for tents Reed Lake
Great place nice and quiet and peaceful and only 2 miles from newark the toilets and showers have now been refurbished and they are brilliant staff friendly and helpful happy days
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities,and the beautiful views over the lakes from the hard standing number 9 pitch,when I dropped off the sister in laws caravan.
Looks well clean and well run site plenty nice fishing pegs and will be checking out this jewel in crown out.
A lovely caravan park. Excellent clean toilet facilities. Carol, the lady on reception was very helpful and informative. All the staff who maintain this suburb park should be very proud of the work they so. Very handy for trips to Newark and a handy bus stop near the entrance. The view over the lake is superb. Definitely intend to go again. Rhona and Geoff
