Given it a 3 for gluten free options as the bun was dry and crumbly to pieces. But a 4 for regular people as the burger was juicy and had all the right flavors going. The side options were good also. Id come back for milkshake as that was delicious.
We had a gluten free and dairy free smash burger with fries and a gluten free and dairy free super smash burger with sweet potato fries. Nothing was to much trouble they swapped out our cheese for vegan cheese also swapped sauces and spoke to the kitchen about our allergies. Super happy with the service definitely worth a visit
First visit at Smash Burger… and we definitely will be returning there. Started with simple Classic Smash Burgers and chips with herbs&garlic + Mac-cheese bites. Everything fresh, tasty like-a-homemade. Free Wi-Fi on the board after reg by social media. Staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom clean. Kudos guys! Well done.
Shopping in the area so decided to forsake BK down the road and try for this "posh" burger joint. After taking a seat, still had to go to the counter to order and food arrived at the table, then had to go get drinks, where one machine had more flavours than the other drinks machine. Don't worry I have not mixed up reviews. Fries were nice but I won't be ordering the fried pickels again, they where actually pretty bland. The burgers where ok but nothing amazing. It's double the price of BK with fewer options for sauces lol. Service is marginally better. People actually try to fake smile. I'm sure hipsters will love this place. Enjoy.
I just don't understand how they can charge £15 for a classic deep fried chicken burger. Bread bun was a little more quality,. I noticed 2 slices of tomato and some red onion The fries were slightly seasoned but only as nice as any of the others I've had. Drink was offered as self serve in a paper cup and paper straw - just like the others. So why did it have nearly double the price? Can't say I'll be doing that again. Not for a burger meal
I have had a very poor experience at this restaurant first of all the order of the restaurant was confusing was not sure if had to wait to be seated or if can just pick any seat. A lot of the tables were not cleared and cleaned from previous customers. My food took an hour to arrive and my burger was cold. The manager then touched my burger to see if it was cold which was unprofessional.My partners burger was under cooked too and cold. The ladies toilet was also very messy.
Much more toward the pricey side with a average meal being around £16 however you get exactly what you pay for. The selection of food add-ons is by far better than I have seen anywhere else. You can have different types of buns, different types of cheese, sauces, and they even have sweet potato fries! The food took around 10 minutes to come out and overall the service was great apart from the wait at the walk in desk where we stood and waited roughly 10mins and had to ask the staff to be seated because there was nobody there to seat us. Nevertheless, it doesn't lower the rating as I assume it was likely a hiccup due to being busy. Final thoughts. Great place. Outstanding food presented very neatly and made quickly. Definitely worth a visit!
I've popped my "Smashburger" cherry. Signature chicken Avocado Club, French/Smash fries - Rekorderlig wild berries & Lotus Biscoff Sundae. Raj, definitely upsold the burger to me with his description of how they make the burgers, the fresh ingredients etc... Food tasted tasted , nicely cooked. Caitlin the Queen of Sundaes recommended the Lotus and it didn't disappoint. Great team of staff, restaurant was spotless. Well done Molly, Jess M, Caitlin, Kiera, AJ, Jess W & Raj - your boss needs to reward you. I will be back SBI
Went after a long day at IKEA feeling very tired and hungry, staff were friendly and helpful both when greeting us, taking us to a table that suited our needs, and when serving the food too! One downside to the experience was using the app to order the food, which was a slow and slightly buggy experience this may have been due to weak 4G inside the restaurant. Another thing was service seemed a little slow, especially as the restaurant was fairly empty, however when the food did arrive it was all fresh, hot, and tasty! Really enjoyed my burger bacon double, fries were nice too, and we all enjoyed sharing some macaroni bites which were still nice and hot when they arrived. Highlight of the meal was the chocolate Oreo milkshake, made with proper ice cream! One other note is that the front door seemed very heavy and awkward to open, which may be something to consider if you have mobility issues. Aside from that the restaurant was very flat and well spaced so accessibility should be reasonable! Over all very positive dining experience and I may recommend it to people, it just loses a star for a few minor and hopefully quite fixable things.
For a chain this was better than expected. Popped in whilst shopping. The full size burger is filling and well priced. I'd go again
