Visited this evening, had an ok meal nothing to write home about but not bad. The usual pub meals on offer. Deserts look great and the one I had was very nice indeed. It was rather busy with several birthday parties which unfortunately meant a lot of young children running around screaming. Accessibility note... Whilst an accessible building for wheelchair users I would recommend booking in and asking for a table closer to the door squeezing past people was tricky.

We used to frequent this place regularly, but it really has gone downhill so we don't bother anymore. Thought we'd give it a try again today and were so disappointed. The supposed under 5 kids play zone is now full with pay only grabber type machines (what kid under 5 carries money around?! 😉) No room or equipment to play on anymore which left us with 2 very bored, grumpy kids. Made worse by the 50 minute wait for food! We were told 20 minutes, and nearly walked out after 40 when told we may be waiting another 15. Desperately understaffed it seemed, although no explanation was given. Tables were left dirty, people complaining about waiting time and having to get their own cutlery because table service was lacking. I'd have given only 1 star, but have to admit the food was actually decent when it finally arrived. Such a shame they've ruined what was once a brilliant family pub. Wont be returning again.

went in there to try somewhere different. was an expensive pint of coke. had a carvery as treated my mom, it was bland and dry. i gave it a chance and ate it due to nothing to eat all day, tried the extra pigs in blankets, 5 greasy cocktail sausages in burnt bacon. literally a bowl of grease after had eaten them. would not go here again or recommend it either. Sorry.

Really nice menu, lots of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians, the kids menu has some good choices too. Not a huge amount of parking and with the proximity to ikea I can imagine it can get busy, particularly at weekends, not too bad on a mid week evening however.
