Cameron helped design and fit my made-to-order suit and his service was excellent! Very knowledgeable and honest with great taste in suits, all resulting in the perfect final product. The same goes for Adam and all the other staff. Top quality
Possibly the best menswear store I have ever been to. They have a wide variety of styles and sizes along with many classic styles difficult to find elsewhere. Their free alterations policy means I always get a great fit. They also stock some really nice pattern shirts, ties, and suits. I have worn one of their overcoats consistently for the past several years and it shows no sign of wear. The clothing is all high quality and reasonably priced, I have never found a generally better deal including overseas. Beyond this they have a wide selection of quality shoes in many sizes and styles. The staff is always kind and helpful even when I am a complete git and have no idea what I'm talking about. They also offer reasonably priced custom work and hire wear though I have not used either. The only negative I could reach for is that I wish they stocked more double breasted suits and three button suits as I am personally partial to them. However this is a very minor gripe, especially considering that they have the widest variety of waistcoats I have ever seen. I would recommend Slaters to anyone I know, it really is a fantastic place.
Slaters in Glasgow is fantastic. They did the hires and trousers for my husband, groomsmen, and our nephew. Then, when my uncle's suit got lost at the airport, Slaters had one that was perfect for him in the color he wanted. They tailored it and everything in the short time before the wedding. He said it's the nicest suit he's ever had.
My husband was served by Marc. He was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond as we needed a suit right away. It was very busy but everyone was attended to promptly. We were taken to another part of the store for a shirt and tie. The sales person showed us what they thought would go with the suit and I picked out exactly the same tie. Great service and would highly recommend
Travelled to the store yesterday as I needed a new shirt asap for wedding. Asked someone to measure me so i could get the correct shirt guy done that and gave me a shirt and guided me to the checkout. Brilliant done. Day before wedding now best try this shirt on. Absolutely no way it is going to fit around my neck. Shocking had one job easy measure. 40minute drive. Pay for parking. Buy shirt that's no use. Fantastic.
Fantastic. Cameron who measured me was very helpful as was Holly think that's her name very helpful too. Prices are unbelievable and free alterations. Highly recommend Slaters.
Went to collect a pair of trousers. After the first attempt at finding them, I was asked if I was there on the correct day. Then they kept looking. Nothing. Next was to get refitted and to collect the following day after alterations. This was no use to me In the end, after one and a half hours, I asked for a refund. At no time was offered an apology.
Popped in to get my sons suit for his prom , we were tended to straight away. My son must have tried at least 10/11 suits on before he found the one, the efforts that were made to find my son a suit was exceptional. Nothing was an issue for the team, after we got his suit sorted we were then taking to the shirts and ties ect, girls matched shirts and ties shoes the work and were very professional and could not have done more for us if they tried. I can't thank the team enough for the efforts to get my son sorted for his prom. Thank you all, 10/10 service and highly recommended
I had a funeral to go to on Tuesday I drove up to Glasgow and arrived on Monday morning I wanted a new suit my brother took me to Slaters. I picked a cracking suit but the trousers needed adjusted, for the next day's funeral Not a problem they sorted it out and I picked it up at 3 pm I have got to say the staff and service they gave me was unbelievable I was really and truly Impressed
If you ask anyone in and around Glasgow where you should buy a suit they only say one place- Slaters. It’s unusual place. The shop sits over three floors. Chose between lots of stairs or a very small lift. Let’s talk suits. Pick one and they will alter it to your individual shape. That means two visits.
