Went in looking for a new 3 piece suit. Received excellent service from start. Was measured correctly for my suit size. And then shown the range of suits. On selecting the one I wanted the assistant quickly selected the individual items which fitted perfectly first time. I needed a shirt which I was again measured for and was recommended a different size and fit which I wouldn’t have chosen myself but fitted so perfectly. Also got a tie to match. The service was great and personable, and I ended with a great fitting suit at a great price. Would recommend anyone looking for a suit or jacket to try here, saved loads of time.
Had heard good things about the store, website looked good, and I was in need of a dinner suit in a hurry 2 weeks. The store layout reminded me of a market stall, which I could put up with browsing if I needed to. However, the fact all of the time I was in the store trying on jackets for size not once was I acknowledged, spoken with or asked if I need help which I did. Browsed for approx 25 minutes and left to spend my money in Moss Bros, paid a little more but received far better service.
Went looking for a suit to wear to a wedding. Excellent service from Morgan who found a great suit in the right size for me plus matching tie. Thanks also to her colleague who found a pair of Green shoes to match. I don't enjoy shopping, but today I did!!!
Visited Slaters last Sunday and was served by the manager... The service, as always, was impeccable. We purchased a full suit for a black tie event with shoes and accessories and loved every minute. I forget the guys name that we dealt with but he was nothing short of amazing and even undressed a manikin to make sure we got the suit we wanted.. If you get the chance to shop here you wont regret it.. 5 Star!!
Went in for my first suit, fantastic customer service and very knowledgeable staff. We were served by Harrison and he definitely knows his stuff. Will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10
I could spend a fortune in this shop. The best range of smart mens clothing in Hampshire and Surrey. The staff are all so smart and knowledgeable and do a great job of showing off the company's products. Free alterations too, so you know you are getting something tailored specifically to you.
We had the incredible fortune and pleasure of dealing with Slaters Basingstoke for our new years eve wedding 2022. Our 'account manager' was Harrison Perrins who was absolutely incredible through the whole process. Harrison could not of made the whole process anymore enjoyable. We had a range of ages and sizes for suit hire, shirts, shoes and belts but nothing was too much trouble. Because of my indecisiveness, we ended up seeing Harrison around 8 times and not once did it seem a problem. Our outfits were commented on all day and really were exactly how we imagined.
I have not been in skater for a while, they do have some great stuff and a good choice. Quality is good and they also do hires. They area but more pricey but you get what you pay for. I guess that they are doing something right though because they are still there. Access is up a flight of steps but they do have a small lift barely large enough for a wheelchair.
Big thanks to Josh at Basingstoke for sorting out a tricky order. Needed 5 suits to be sent to 4 separate stores. Good communication, excellent value for money and no one tried to hard sell us. The shop gets very busy at weekends and I would strongly recommend getting there during the week if you can. Thanks all.
A great shop with a really large collection of suits. I bought a suit here for myself and my best men for my wedding. It is very affordable, good quality and as I say a large choice. However.....the suits were not actually what makes this place so good. The salesman Harrison Perrin was superb. I work in high end sales and Harrison was nothing but excellent. He was patient, knowledgeable but most of all likeable. When I have a vacancy within my organisation I will be poaching him. Well done!
