Came here for mortgage advice as I had heard good things. They did not disappoint. I had some credit issues with my address being in the wrong order, this severely complicated me being able to apply for a mortgage. Scott Malcomson did everything in his power to help me with this, and in the end, I now own my dream flat! Going from not knowing anything to being a home owner is a daunting prospect, Scott and Slater Hogg made this process very educational, easy and dealt with me in a professional manner. I used their branch's mortgage adviser who guided me to purchasing my first house. Having no experience in this area, I couldn't have done it without them. easy, straight forward and quick service from start to completion.

Scott was fantastically helpful, he took all the worries out of what could have been a very painful process. He walked me through it step by step and saved a lot of the time and stress it would have otherwise cost me.

I used to let my flat through this agency. After a number of years of no issues they got sloppy. The last couple of tenants they got was not background checked properly. The last tenant vandalised my flat which cost me £2000 to sort out. Also I had to take legal action to evict the tenant which led to at least £800 in solicitors fees. If you are a landlord I would highly recommend NOT to go with this letting agency because once my flat was vandalised they washed their hands off it. I don't live in Scotland so travelling up takes 5-6 hours. Luckily I got in touch with Ross and Liddel who picked up the keys and refurbished the flat and are now successfully been letting it out for the past year.
