Skylark is the cafe on beautiful Wandsworth Common. Enjoy nourishing, delicious food and drink surrounded by 170 acres of green, open space.

Story

The cafe (formerly known as Common Ground) was taken over by new management in April 2014 and has been refurbished and a new kitchen team and menu are in place. It is our aim to create a special place for you to relax and spend time.

We serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. We use the best suppliers we can find and prepare our food with care, thought and invention with a specific menu for children, including dishes for babies.

Although you can't sit inside because of COVID restrictions they are still offering a good take away service. The hot chocolate was good and carrot cake really  delicious and very generous size slice too.

Ordered a hot chocolate drink to take out as there was no seating inside. Delightful patio to have the drink on a cold and sunny October evening approx 5.30. The one issue being that the drink was expensive for what it was £3 for a regular hot chocolate.

Staff could have been a little friendlier,appreciate that there are restrictions but could have had a slightly friendlier approach

Stunning find, perfect for the park - food is really well prepared and presented, service is good as well. It can get busy but there’s plenty of room inside and out. Coffee is really good - childrens meal portion is big! Really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back!

Good hot chocolate and vin chaud

Only had ice cream and tinned water, pleasantly served. Fully covid compliant

Good setting. Basic facilities. Nice location.

Services are to slow. It takes ages to order anything and your order literally takes double the time.
