I ate here two years ago when I lived in Clapham. I decided to pop my head in while visiting. Still an incredible full English. The guys are friendly and accommodating. Ignore all the Karen’s on here. This is the place to go for breakfast and lunch.Food: 5/5
Received mouldy toast, only noticed after I had already eaten some of it. Contacted JustEat who gave me my money back. Tried calling the restaurant countless times to report this to them but no one answers, it just rings out and then eventually hangs up. I’ll be contacting FSA as a friend had a similar occurrence a few weeks ago!
A nice place for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The portion sizes are large and the prices reasonable. Had their baked potato with cheese and beans. It was great and very filling. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. The place is quite popular among the locals. Vegetarian options: The menu has vegetarian options. You can swap sausages with vegetarian sausages.
I have been going here for a number of years. In the past I would have given 5 stars. However on my last visit it seemed to have lost some of its friendliness and although it was almost empty , the service was rather slow. The food was good still and I would give it another go if I was in the area. Not sure if it's under new management? Parking: Paid on street parking or you can park in the supermarket car park around the corner and pay less.
Rude and arrogant and intolerant with people. I have seen the manager or owner too yell at and humiliate app drivers several times for no reason. The owner just watches and is complicit in the scene. I got up and left. Have more respect for people, they are human beings too and are working just like you. I do not accept this type of attitude and I do not recommend this place. Have more respect. Zero stars. They will say that the comment is fake and that I have never been to this place, but I filmed the whole scene.
Such a good brunch spot! Really reasonably priced and great service. Portions were large and delicious! Difficult to choose as there were so many great options on the menu!Food: 5/5
Fantastic big breakfast, would recommend if staying nearbyFood: 5/5
We’ve just had a delicious breakfast at Jack’s. It was very tasty, filling, not at all greasy with good quality ingredients. It’s so nice to be able to pick your own breakfast without any fuss. The service was friendly and efficient.
Brilliant place to eat close to Clapham junction. Breakfast is well made with good portions for what you pay. And wide range of options to choose from and customise. Very chill cafe with the owner being an amazing friendly guy.
Avoid… ordered on Uber Eats as I was on the move for work and pushed for time. I ordered 2 breakfast rolls and ham and cheese panini all with tomato ketchup. Decided to order some fresh fruit smoothies as they were buy 1 get 1 free. Ordered large fresh orange and large mixed berry. I was stupid enough not to check the price because in a rush. Arrived… 2 tiny ketchup saches. That was only enough for 1 roll so the other roll had no sauce and was extremely dry, salty and unpleasant. Then 2 large fresh orange, 1 large mixed berry and another small. Arrived was 1 large orange, 1 small, 2 large berry . I was over charged for them as they were not buy one get one free and I was charged for extra that I didn’t order. £25 for 2 large berry and 3 small ones arrived. Then 1 large orange and a small orange. None of which were buy one get one free at all. £65.40 plus £3 delivery. Complete rip off and joke. Mugged to max here. Avoid this gaff at least if your ordering a delivery
