The car is great but other than that, everything is awful!! We reserved a car and upon arrival, this guy at front desk said they were still busy cleaning it and asked us to wait for 5-10 minutes maximum which turned out to be 40 minutes waiting.nThe reason for this long waiting is because the front desk man who was supposed to help us disappeared and we were totally forgotten. When we asked another guy for help, it turned out the car was already ready but no one informed us at all. I hope Sixt is aware how important every minute is during a trip. But this is not yet the worst part. After we returned the car, we got extra charge 25 pounds on the bill saying that we should be charged for fueling. However, we did get gas and made sure it’s full tank before returning and it is confirmed by Sixt itself that our gas status when returning was 8/8. So we asked this situation to the customer service on WhatsApp and he or she said indeed there should be no charge for fueling for us. Regardless of that they still charged us 25 pounds. And then they claimed we had returned it late….we have a proof of our returning time and 100% it was on time. Yet now we are still disputing.nThe car made our road trip perfect but the service of Sixt ruined it. I believe there is a better service than Sixt. Highly suggest to avoid Sixt to make sure your post trip life is not a trouble.

Be careful with Sixt Stansted. Do not book with them if you have an evening flight. Although they advertise as open till late and even have a sign on the wall to say open till 11pm. Even their central call centre thought they should be open.nThey just close early even if they have reservations. I was delayed and arrived just after 830 to find they had gone and I was left stranded. Book with their competitors who were open as advertised.nStaff confirmed when I returned they were struggling to have enough staff to cover their opening hours.

Best customer service I've ever experienced with a rental service! Billy was quick, friendly, and very helpful on our initial check out of the vehicle! On the way to check out, Jamie was just as amazing! We were out in less than five minutes of arrival and straight onto the transit to the terminal! 5 stars for customer service and great experiences!

I rented a car from Sixt Stanstead Airport and I have to say I had the best customer service experience from Curtis, I have never come across such a professional, personable and knowledgable employee. He was extremely helpful at the vehicle pick up and even came outside with us to show us some of the tricky make-specific features of the car to ensure we had a smooth start. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the vehicle during the rental, and Curtis called us to make sure we were okay and if there was anything he couod do to support. If I still worked in Britain I would poach Curtis ASAP onto my team.

I had a really good experience with Sixt at Stansted which follows another hassle-free rental a couple of years ago with different pick-up/drop-off locations. Very straightforward and friendly collection with neither hard sell nor fuss. Good car. Return was equally straightforward - friendly returns agent checked everything quickly and credit card hold was released the same day.nEdit: just completed my  2nd rental in 2 months. Another smooth & hassle free experience with a good car VW T-Roc
