Very nice hosts. Excellent breakfast. Clean tidy rooms. Short walk from town center. Good base for exploring surrounding area. Good travel links. Did i mention the breakfast ??

Beautiful place to stay, very clean and bright!  The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and plenty of choice for your breakfast with unlimited tea/coffee and toast and all served up in a very sunny room...we felt very much at home and definitely a brilliant nights sleep in a wonderfully cosy bed.  The room itself had everything you could possibly need...even decaf tea...and again was bright and sunny and exceptionally clean, considering our room was main road facing, it was very quiet and the place itself is within walking distance of all the local amenities ...but shush...don't tell anyone as we want to make sure we can always get a room to stay in whenever we get back to Cockermouth.
