We came here on Sunday, with a voucher for the Three Course Meal. We booked months before, this is a very requested place! We ate very well, tasty food and well presented. Many waiters in the room, all very fast and efficient. I could go back one day to try the normal Menu, I think that they have a very good chef in the kitchen.
We visited this restaurant to celebrate an occasion and were really happy with the dinner. The restaurant is located in a hotel so it is easy to find parking. The service at Sindhu is amazing and everyone there was very attentive. The waiters took their time to explain the dishes and make recommendations. The food was great and we weren’t disappointed. They also presented us with a lovely dessert plate for our anniversary. Would definitely go back!
Visited here on a sunny Monday lunchtime. Like most people there we had a virgin experience voucher. Restaurant has about 40 covers but some tables are closer together than i would like. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Set menu good, and I think very good value. Three course and a glass of wine for £27 is you didn't have a voucher. Note some dishes have a supplement of £8. Parking at hotel free all day if visiting a restaurant, have to add your car details in arrival. Would return.
A nice Indian restaurant by river Thames, their Chef had got michelin star award. Come here with friends for lunch. Their lunch set have variety and very value for money. We chose the 3 course include started, main and dessert. Presentation is nice and taste good in general. Staff are nice and friendly. Worth to come back again.
You know it's the best Indian restaurant when the restaurant is full and you are the only Indian family sitting inside. Pls don't expect food to be in Indian style - the cooking is pure Indian bit the style of serving is foreign. For eg we ordered a 3 meal course and ordered chicken Kodi koora, it turned out to be a big chicken breast served with cabbage leaves. However the taste of each food items were heavenly. The chicken breast was so tenderly cooked that it melts in your mouth. A bit pricey but worth it. The views outside were stunning.
Delightful tasting menu with wine pairing. The setting overlooking the river is fantastic. The staff member serving the food to our table seemed very disinterested and muttered the name of each dish and wine before scurrying away! Highly recommend the food - the halibut was a particular highlight!
Absolutely top notch experience, we had the set 3 course menu, there were 4 of us and each starter, main course and desert were beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. Added to that we actually met and chatted to Atul who was charming and completely at ease with us, just added to the experience Can't recommend enough, many thanks to the whole team our experience was faultless
Top class food. The best currys I have ever had. Decent portion sizes but when you've finished the 3 course meal you can still move and go for a walk. It was just the right amount of food. Lovely presentation. Staff are really nice and welcoming and the smell is amazing. Definitely would come back.
What a great experience! Lovely dum beriyani, bread basket and lamb chettinad. Service was very attentive. Lucky enough to also meet and have a brief chat with Atul himself. Would definitely recommend. Just be aware it's in the Compleat Angler Hotel
When you book for lunch at a restaurant like Sindhu, you expect to be 'wowed'. Unfortunately, Sindhu did not meet all expectations. Prawn and veggie starters were spectacular but then main and desert were just good. The baklava cheesecake was actually baklava with a little cheesecake tasting cream on the side. All in all good, but not worth the money. Restaurant was nicely decorated. Lovely atmosphere. Service was mediocre.
