I visited the Marlow Donkey for my Christmas do a few weeks ago.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: There were both good and bad parts to this. The table service was very good and was done very well. The table service team was nice and very prompt with the food. Visiting the bar was slightly different. I think there should have been more than two person in the bar so as to help  limit waiting times. On two occasions we were waiting for over 15 minutes to make our orders. I see this as an issue for them because we were ordering drinks for about 18 people with bottles on wine one top. If it wasn't for the do we would have left.

FOOD : the food was really good and every one enjoyed it. The desserts were also simple but very very well done and well presented.

Overall the experience was good. A few subtle changes can make the experience that much better.

Nice pub in good location with its own car park. Recommend the Sunday roast and a glass of wine. Staff very friendly and attentive. Pet friendly, we took dogs and there were a few others dogs accompanying their owners as well.

As always, friendly efficient service. Good food. Great selection of Gins. Pink Grapefruit is a definite favourite!!

Great pub/restaurant looking for a great lunch or dinner this is the place to be.
Looking for a great drink after dinner it's very  pleasant to be. Great and fine staff.

Very nice.Highly recommended. Staff is excellent and a service fantastic.
Again in a pub and everything is excellent!!!We are coming here every 2-3 weeks.
