Lovely fabric shop. Each week there is a wealth of new bolts, From pvc to stretch lace. I find the selection of haberdashery cheaper than the online shops.
The online shop delivery times are ridiculous. I ordered some fabric on the 29th of November and they neglected to post the parcel until a week later. They’re using Royal Mail as an excuse for it but if you’re selling fabric that people is going to use to make garments during one of the busiest times of the year, during one of the biggest strikes I can remember, YOU NEED to find other ways to post your items or let your customers know that you take a week to post things. Oh! And call people back when you say you’re going to. As a business owner myself I can only express disappointment with the customer service. Let’s see if the fabric shows up here soon.
Arguably one of the best haberdasheries in London. Well stocked, helpful friendly staff, great prices, easy to reach. If i were a better seamster im sure id need to live much closer nearby. Theyll happily order things they don't currently have, too.
Just went to this place. Nice off to the side location. The store attendant was polite but left customers to look around and get what they wanted ;Which my sister and I personally liked. The fabrics in the shop were very nice. Lovely patterns and a wide variety. Just take the bolt of fabric that you want to the till and ask the gentleman to cut it to your specifications. Everything was decently priced.
I love walking in their shop, they alwas have what I need. Very reasonable prices
Shop does not have a great range of fabric. Some seems overpriced. Such a shame as Rolls and Rems in Lewisham and other locations closed down recently and I'm sure their excustomers will be looking for the great choice and designs they had. Also the staff were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable
Friendly staff, if they don't have what you want they will try to obtain it or advise alternatives.
Absolutely rubbish customer service, basically if you know nothing about fabrics don't go there not helpful at all! The man was on the phone the whole time. I believe the fabric store just 30 seconds from this place is much better, staff lovely and helpful but they don't stock silk but I definitely recommend the other store think their sister stores anyway.
I bought a beautiful lace collar and some bias binding. Advice and help available. Lovely items and very good prices
I love this place. You don't come across many local haberdashers like this in London anymore that are so good for value. You have to be willing to look for certain gems in the shop nestled under the bridge, but the other branch towards electric avenue is very well organised and colour coded. The staff all have time for you and are happy to give you their opinion. And if you are looking for something a little extra then Robert is always handy to help.
