The interior layout that’s anonymous and sensory inert, conveying arms length rather than a welcome embrace. Fair range of cakes, pastries, lite bites and adequate coffee, little in the way of vegan options. Prices and portion realistic. Service perfunctory. The moniker really says it best : “Simple Coffee” And this is true.
I've just seen the lady behind the till negotiate 2 very difficult customers beautifully. She was gracious and kind. The food here is great and reasonably priced. I speak as someone who goes for coffee and cake lots. Visit this place, you won't be disappointed.

A friendly and helpful service from Agata in Simple Coffee on Mill Hill broadway. The best coffee on the Broadway by far.
An Italian style coffee shop. Excellent coffee which is smooth and strong. The cakes are really great and home made. Very reasonable price as well. The lunch options are paninis, sandwiches and salad bowls, plus baked potatoes and priced between £3.50 and £8.50. Cakes £2.90 Coffees around £2-3 with Americano £2.40 and cappuccino £2.70. This is a friendly cafe with outdoor seating and ideal for coffee and cake whilst out shopping or light lunches with friends. A really lovely addition to this fast improving High Street.
Great coffee and collection of desserts.
Not sure if this place has changed owners but I can't relate to the previous reviews. We were charged £16.50 for two lattes and a ham and cheese croissant. Nothing special apart from the price which I double checked as I couldn't see any price list. Paris tourist prices in unexpected location!
