Superb coffee, nice ambient space. However I was left a little disappointed by the toasty. There was everyday value ham in my ham&cheese toasty which I had to pick out. Otherwise the sausage rolls are very good and portion sizes relatively generous
Great little coffee shop, my go to when I’m in the area. Coffee is hot and fresh and the pastry’s always hit the spot. Staff are always friendly and helpful and they have a lovely garden with heaters if sitting outdoors is your thing pets are allowed. Would definitely recommend!
Make sure you get marble cake here, it’s just the best Tasty coffee
This place used to serve great coffee, I remember having a really good chemex a year or so ago. It looks like it's under new management now, and coffee knowledge has gone with the previous owners. The filter coffee was very watery with no taste, but there's a good selection of snacks and cakes, with a number of vegan options too, and it's still the same great interior with a nice vibe. In reply to the response... Thanks for taking the time, but that wasn't me as I didn't order a jug. I was the one who asked if the filter coffee was a light roast and no one seemed to be sure. Maybe it was a bad batch then, as it wasn't good at all. It would be nice to have the pour over coffees back. I know it takes a while but some customers would really appreciate it.
This is the cafe to go to if you’re looking to hit the books for any reason: an upcoming assignment, learning a language, make a real dent in your book. I don’t know how this has become THE place for it, but you’re around other studious, industrious types here, so it really feels like you can get it done, regardless of what your IT is. The coffee and food is decent but for me it takes a sideline to the atmosphere which is streets ahead of other cafes in fostering a conducive environment for knuckling down on tackling the long road ahead.
Found this little cafe while in the area, tried it a couple weeks ago and have been going ever since! It is a lovely place, amazing coffee, delicious savoury and sweet selections, great atmosphere and service and lastly friendly staff. My go to from now on would definitely recommend! Thank you!
Would highly recommend this welcoming place. Friendly staff, great barista and a warm atmosphere. I enjoyed the new decor and the coffee range as well as the pastry. Great place to spend time with friends and family.
So usually the donuts taste less stale. It's been a while since I had one from there. Maybe it's because I brought them after 2pm. Do you guys get a fresh batch delivered daily?? Reply to owner, thank you for your reply. No need to compensate, I will come again earlier next time to buy fresher ones.
