I'd say more than 50% of the staff are hard work to deal with. I dread having to go there and avoid it if I can. Update: Just to clarify as the above is vague. At a minimum when in there you should not hear the cry "who's next". Why can't they keep track of who is next in the queue. I have seen people trying to nudge in front of others so when your waiting in there you have to be tracking who's in there as the staff don't. It leads to rows with other customers. Secondly some of the staff have more interest in pottering about out back rather than serving and no matter how many times you order a bread sliced they will no doubt ask again if I want it sliced. Just annoying. Anyway rant over

Most often eat here at lunch. Quick and easy, cant really complain. Maybe a little pricey.

Staff have always been lovely when we have been in here and the food is standard for Simmons. Not award winning cuisine but...you know, a bakery.

A small bakery but friendly staff serve freshly baked bread, hot filled rolls, coffees and cream cakes. Tables outside allow relaxing breakfast on warm days.
