A friend recommended Silk Lounge to me as I was fed up with nail salons I had been visiting in Basildon. All I can say is I will not be getting my nails done anywhere else. The salon is run by an appointment system which is great as other salons I have felt like I am on a conveyer belt. All the girls are lovely and they really provide a quality service and go above and beyond. I've been back every month :

Absolutely disgusting service , been using them 3 months and in that time , they have double booked my appointment twice and unable to help me out  On my first appointment we’re very nice , chatty and approachable However after this first time rude, and didn’t make any effort to communicate  They are not a cheap place !!!!!  Maybe they need to change who runs their diary system

This nail salon is the best really nice workers in there. I went in the for wanting acrylic they told me to use SNS because it is better for your nails and last longer. So glad they told me that every time I will go in there I get SNS nails thank you.

Do not use!!!!!!!!! Booked an appointment 3 days ago, to get a call 15 mins before to say can I come 15 mins later, not a problem. Went to the salon, for me to be told that they cannot fit me in as they dont have enough pedicure stations. Absolutely terrible management and not even a sincere apology from anyone in there. Will never recommend anyone too use this salon. Would give 0 stars if I could.Service:&nbsp;Pedicure

Had SNS nail treatment. 1 week in & they look lovely - never had them before, so not sure what  damage they may/may not cause my nails. I can't have gels anymore as it took my nails a year to recover

I found them good 2 start with. Then they messed up my nails tried to say it was what I asked for. The manager was rude and not apologetic. Then they tried to charge me for their mistake. Plus I don't think they should talk over you in there language rude.

I have been going to the silk lounge for years on and off, lily is great. I booked an appointment for today at 11.45am, to arrive and be told they had put it in for next week... could I then come back at 12.30pm, which I did, then waited another 25 minutes sitting there to realise I would then get a car parking ticket... in the time it took me to try and find another place to park, walking in and out of the rain, I had to return to the same car park to realise I would get a ticket fine so then had to try and sort that... then they called me asking me to come back in another ten minutes... what a royal waste of my time! So two hours in total later, a parking ticket, wet hair, waiting and no nails done!! Great!! Organisation is really poor and it has really upset me...

The worst experience ever, do not come here!!! Waited almost 45 mins to receive our food once it came it was cold, asked for sauces had to ask the waitress 3 times before it came, which took another 20 mins!!! Upon leaving they had a power cut the whole place went dark waited 15 mins for the lights to come back on in the mean time staff are still serving food in the dark whilst they tell us this happened last week too  what a joke when we complained to staff about lack of service they were so unhelpful and rude & said it was fine that we choose not too come back! How unprofessional!!!
