Big pub,nice layout and car park at rear. Decent choices and prices and a nice pool table,bit of a yokel crowd but ok
Friendly local and clean enough but food not served all day. Menu was quite limited and looked like good country pub food, eg liver and onions, but definitely not a Gastropub. Needs a bit of love. There was a worn sign proudly declaring that it was in the finals for village pub of the year 1999 but obviously hasn't tried hard enough since.
The food is always served piping hot and quickly, range of drinks fantadtic and the staff are friendly. Great place to take the kids, especially if you're watching the pennies.
i should keep this a secret because they might not have a table when I pop in if it gets too popular but I have eaten in most pubs and restaurants in the area and this is the best so far, nothing more to say its as simple as that

Good beer , cheery regulars , clean toilets , topless bar staff somewhat off putting .
Found it by chance,and popped in for a beer and found the locals to be very friendly and also the beer was fine which is great,will head out that way again maybe for some food ...and more beer!
Good food clean and bright but the staff left a little to be desired!
Can't guarantee whether they are doing food on a daily basis. Called to see if we had to book and was told very curtly "We're not doing food tonight." On a Friday.
