Absolutely amazing Sunday Carvery... All home cooked to perfection. Meat is slow cooked for 16 hours, all the veg is hand prepped. We couldn't have asked for better. Exceptional service by all members of the team. Really friendly local vibe. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, we will certainly be visiting again!Service: 5/5
Went here for a Sunday lunch today and honestly one of the best ones in the area, it’s such a homely traditional lunch, meat falls apart, roasters are crispy, gravy is nice and thick. Quality food. Has a real nice local village pub vibe too and locals are extremely friendly. Bar staff were brilliant too especially TJ. Very impressed, will be here more often each weekend now!! Thank you!
Visited too day for Sunday carvery and was not disappointed. 3 different meats to choose from and a good variety of fresh vegetables. ExcellentService: 5/5
Didn't stay there just went for Sunday carvery, it was beautiful. Plenty to eat, beautifully cooked, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Fabulous local pub with very efficient friendly service. We attended a tribute music night and it was brilliantly organised with a great crowd and hosted by a lovely landlord and landlady who made us feel very welcome Rooms: 5/5

fantastic pub, really how a pub should be.great beers and really great landlord and landlady
Went to try out the Sunday carvery after seeing online recommendations. Very popular, with many regulars greeted by name. Choice of beef, turkey, pork and quiche veg or any combination of these. Wide range of vegetables including choice of plain or cheesy mash. Meal was hot and went down well. Only slight negative is that we like our beef pink and all meats were well done but not everyone likes pink beef! Good range of desserts. Other half had bread and butter pudding and custard. The Ferraro Roche cheesecake was very popular. Will go again for a quick, well priced Sunday lunch.
