Came to the pub today with the wife and kids and had some food. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, and to accommodate my children the landlady gave them some pens and colouring so the kids were entertained we stopped for an other drink
Visited this pub tonight as a family of 3, was welcome by the staff/owners and nothing was too much bother. 1 ordered off the menu and 2 carvery. The food was fantastic, great deal of choices and presented beautifully. The meat from the carvery was unreal all round family/friendly pub. Will be sure to visit again, thank you!
Just left after eating the BEST steak I have ever had. The pub has dogs that are super friendly and got on well with mine. The owners are doing lots of work in the garden which I’m sure will be great in the summer! Will definitely be returning.
Rang up to see if you were serving?you said yes, wow the fish and chips were to die for, my dad's new York chicken was delicious and my partners gammon was huge, well done and we will definitely be coming back
Hired the back room for a wake. Child friendly,The bar staff were very friendly room was very clean and modern and the food albeit expensive was worth every penny it was amazing. Thanks guys look forward to doing business in the future
Fist ever visit to this pub, went for Sunday carvery, wow it was so good and only £6.95 outstanding value for money. All fresh cooked food and you can help yourself to as much as you want! They also do some lovely home made puddings and cakes. Highly recommended
Absolutely perfect carvery, loads of veg, perfect crispy potatoes and the creamed leeks were to DIE for :- booked in agin for this Sunday!
Went for a carvery today for 3 adults and 3 children and a toddler. The food was fantastic! So much flavour. The staff were lovely and chatty. My daughter was especially happy to see their happy friendly dogs roaming around which I loved. Overall a perfect experience!
Such a lovely little pub. We were driving past after a visit to a local family attraction when we stopped for a drink. We were welcomed by staff behind the bar and I'm assuming the couple that ran it, were also in the Main Bar area and were very welcoming. We were served quickly and the beer was good and reasonably priced! We had a flick through the menu on our table which was presented beautifully , whilst we didn't eat on this occasion we will definitely be back for food....what we saw being served looked and smelt incredible! Well Done Railway Inn. We hope to be back soon!
Nice place..nice ambience..and relatively cheap as well. The beer here was great as well!
