We came as we we’re passing through and saw that was open so we were hungry and decided to park. Very cosy atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was superb specially the Belly Pork pls check the photos it was one of the best belly porks I have ever had! The burger was good as well only that I asked medium rare and it came well done besides that it was a brilliant experience and we’ll definitely recommend this place to others. They’re pet friendly!!
Lovely welcoming staff, extensive menu, we all had 3 courses and everyone enjoyed every choice! Will recommend and return when next in the area! however no good for vegan family members.
Called here on the way back from Golden Cap hike, Lovely welcoming pub set in a picturesque village, Staff welcoming & food superb. Called back the following day but sadly was closed for private function. Highly recommend
This is a popular venue so booking is recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful and accommodated a small adjustment to my husband's order without any fuss. I had the homemade steak and kidney pie which came with an impressive selection of vegetables. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. There is a pleasantgarden at the back of the pub.
The wine is good. The staff are brilliant. I met a celebrity called Richard Badman and he was very humble. He sang a few songs as well as show us his amazing golf ball magic trick. I was amazed to have such entertainment at a beautiful location
Driving around trying to find somewhere to eat after a long day out, this place was more than we could've hoped for. Extensive menu, catering for a wide variety of tastes, including children's, HUGE portions, perfectly cooked, well presented, by lovely staff... and not expensive.
Excellent all our meal's were lovely nicely cooked and presented. I had a burger and it was great for a change it came on a bread bun and not a brioche bun. Chips and side salad.

Fantastic meal, would recommend! We arrived here on Easter Sunday after a walk in Seaton. There wasn't many options which were open, and this looked the best reviewed on Google. Definitely lived up to their reputation! The portions were huge! Even the child's sausage and mash was impressive and with great ingredients, most pubs just heat up frozen rubbish for kids these days. Only thing I'd mention was that we were waiting a while for service, but i did appreciate how busy they were, plus we were a bit hidden away in the function room. Will certainly be coming back - best pub meal we've had for a very long time.
