The Ship Inn is a lovely seaside rustic public house located in Saltburn on the Sea in the North East of England. 10 seconds walk from the sea. It boasts real Ale and tasty home cooked food. The pub its self has a nautical feel with pictures of boats and display cases with fisherman's knots. The pub boasts sea views in a popular ocean aprts location. You can see surfers and paddle boards through its windows. Prices, drinks and food choices seem good value and taste great. Overall a great experience.
Oh my goodness! Amazing food! Made fresh, worth the wait. They didn't had the small fish and chip when I was there that day so we ordered the regular. When it came to the table I was shock by the size of it. Had to have my husband and daughter to help me eating it. It's true to say that England does the best fish and chips. Nothing like this where I'm from.
A quaint little pub much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside we came for food which is served from 12-9 pm we ordered the steak and ale pie and shepherds pie both decent sized portions succulent meat homemade chips and three vegetables very friendly staff lovely food dogs welcome here too
Came here today nice old fashion pub on sea front only had a pint in beer garden £4.30 for pint of strongbow. Bit overpriced but amazing views! Outside beer bus was cash only so make sure you take your notes! Will come back and try the food.
Dog friendly pub with designated area for our furry friends. The food was excellent with good sized portions. Positioned right by the sea, it takes some beating.
Lovely seafront pub. Lots of outside seating. Food looked amazing but we had eaten on the promenade. Will definitely try the food next time we visit.

If you visit Saltburn then you must visit the ship Inn it is a lovely walk along the beach or road to the pub they are very welcoming . If you do decide to eat here as the food is delicious and not badly priced try one of the Parmo meals all the food is gorgeous but they are outstanding . Plus you have the wonderful view of the sea and beautiful Saltburn .
Amazing food, prompt service, reasonable price , great location ....... definitely worth a visit , although I've heard the team are changing soon. New team has to keep things the same
Visited bank holiday and got seated straight away which was good considering it was extremely busy in Saltburn but also shorty after the pub was heaving with hungry people. We ordered 2X fish & Chips, Bacon cheese burger & chips, Lasagna & chips..... The food was excellent and the portions were massive and I must say the Lasagna was the best I have ever had whilst dining out and that includes all your posh Italian restaurants, it was rich and tasty with lashings of cheese on the top and the portion was great. The chips on all were really cooked to perfection.... A little gem in Saltburn...
